mission bday party
slaughter house whut whut. hehehe
i had a good time... i've never spent so much time in a car though. jesus.... so we get to mission and we're thinking ya.. that was far but we're almost there.... but no... wayyy further than expected. anywas i just wanted to hear watcha guys thought/and how it was for you. kim - thank you sooooo much for the ride.. myles kinda dragged me out last minute myles - you had enough uncomfortableness for the both of us  ... thx for the zoom zoomzcaitlin - you almost hit that floor :P hahaha it's all about left right? it was good actually talking to ya. jovi jovi jovi - too much alchy for you.... and zoomz lol sean! - put your shirt back on hahaha... fuck you were HELLA entertaining krista - yes... me is number boy.. drunk whut :hehe: |

Alright the party started off in the top of a barn. But it rattled so much it was impossible for the needles not to skip. So I help these guys try a bunch of shit to help not make the needles skip. I ask maybe it is the needles(lower model stantons that have been worn in pretty good) No way they say. I say ok Im not playin it aint my party who cares!. So they setup downstairs. Kenny(ninewells) starts playing and has to put up with the following: -Skippy needles which make it very hard to cue with
-No monitor -One dickhead of a guy bothering him every two minutes and eventually touching the platter whenever kenny would pick a new record.(props to emenince for settign him straight) There is more that would make any other dj walk away but kenny had a good heart and hung in there even to the point where the left turntable was no longer able to cue a record. I left at about 11:45. the beer was gross, The people were nice. But overall the party was a far cry from fun. Unless you were drunk. Good job nine wells the mix was good good while it lasted. P.S. Standing in frunt of the decks a friend realized he sold his turntables to one of the guys trying to throw the party. Well looking at the turntables he noticed the stanton carts on the m3ds hmmmm? he thinks could those be mine??? They were and when he got them 6 months ago the needles were ready to go. was bumpin, and I was having a blast.. too bad my ride wanted to leave sooooo early! sorry sean, I DIDNT wanna go.. Jb2 I will be all night!!! :)

Actually the decks were mine... the needles were someone elses though. I thought the party was a blast... props to the cronic bass crew for putting it on and getting past all the pre party chaos. :284: Thanks for letting me throw down some early morning breaks:smoke1: |

I thought the party kicked ass.
I got beer all night(Props Jamil) and lots of old peeps were there including some new ones. The needles were completely hooped and the turntables were hooked up to the mixer backwards after Exacto's set, (excuses, excuses) So I kept taking off the record that was playing. That kinda upset me but other than that I had a blast. Props to Sean, Mike, and Jamil for a kickin barn party Peace |
