well Misty and I haven't been out in a while - and i am normally a Cheeky kind of girl ~ but Mystikal Influence was reason enough to drag my sorry ass out
and i am sooo glad i did - thank you Jeff for entertaining us...hitting on us (such a sweet gesture) and its good to know that people still know me when i come out :) BJ and Khara, thanks for being old with me......(not that you guys will ever see this) thank you most of all to the Djs who kicked my ass onto the dance floor And to everyone else....it's cool to show up before 11:00...just so you know Jingles |

If breaks and drum n' bass is yo thang, I doubt you would be disappointed by what our residents and guests have to present to you each week. Not to mention all the crazy unusual stuff we got planned in the upcoming months (live PA's, open decks vs. the residents, and lots of silly antics on the mic, just for starters).

The open decks vs. the Pound residents is an awesome idea, but just a suggestion for the next time - someone from Pound (that isn't spinning) should have a sign-up sheet - first come, first serve who will also monitor to ensure everyone is only dropping two or three tracks each.
It was all good, I mean I had a good time and all but after waiting an hour and a half (and I must admit I got there late at ten to eleven), I was only able to drop one track. I am totally glad I showed up though... I was planning to drop this new track I picked up but then Luscious Lisa showed up so I had to play her favorite - that Nirvana Breaks track... It seemed to get everyone off there feet and on the floor which was a good thing! Peace. |

I sent you an e-mail a while ago about my new mix. Good to hear from you again. The sign up sheet idea should be in effect for nights like these, especially when there is this much of a response to our night. We'll be sure to give you more of a slot next time. I was commenting on the over all setup. I have seen much worse but my post was more a suggestion to the POUND crew for the next time so everyone gets an equal opportunity! I look off cause I had to get up early today for work. But playing just one track was worth it cause I got to see Luscious Lisa and her friends go off on the dance floor. Speaking of dropping tracks, I need ya to order up some more rekkids for me man! |
