Thanks to everyone that came out and supported once again I had a great night it's really alot of fun to throw parties like that.First off I'd like to say sorry about the Breaks room but we were told that we'd be able to use another side room that holds about 100 people when we booked it but the day before we were told that we weren't allowed to use it we tried to pay more but nothing could be worked out so we figured the breaks hall was better than no breaks at all once again I do apologize.Next yes it was shitty that the cops shut it down early thats the risk we take when ya throw an underground party but that's also why we make them cheap cause everybody knows if we have to pay the city the cops and other extra costs then we're gonna have to charge what we feel is just not fair for a small party but we also feel that getting shutdown early only twice out of 7 parties we've thrown in the last year and only an hour and a half early both times is pretty good so under the circumstances Scotty and I have done our absolute best to give you bang for your buck and by the showing at Kismit we once again would like to thank everyone for your support this was the one year anniversary of the teaming up of Doh Boy and Triple A and what a year it's been.Lastly to the fucking idiot that brought in the wine bottle took a swing at security with it and got tossed on his ass then we believe called the cops because we wouldn't let him back in to party If I ever see at one of my parties again you better hope I don't recognize you enough said.Sorry if I was a bit a prick at the end asking everyone to leave it's just I asked nicely three times and I was a bit pissed that buddy called the cops and they told us if we didn't have everyone out right away they were impounding the equipment so all in all a very rewarding night. next parties Vinyl Tap May10th and expect more of the same to come all year long from Triple A and Doh Boy Once again thanks for making Kismit a Kick Ass party!!!

I had a wicked time! Music was excellent, it was nice to go to a more house/trance oriented small party, tho admittedly I didn't venture into the breaks hallway more cuz it gave me the sensation of dancing in a crowded airplane. People overall were great, it was nice to see a crowd that was a bit (not a lot) older. Did it suck getting shut down early? Yup, but at least it was late enough that I felt that I got my money's worth (also helped that it was centrally located so I didn't have to travel far.
Other random thoughts...I realize the big screen TV was there for 'visual effects' or 'visual enhancement', but why was truned half sideways so it kinda faced the DJ more than the crowd?...one thing I never liked about the Korean is it just never seems that ther is anywhere to wander; everytime I felt like taking a stroll around, it seemed like I was back where I started before I knew it...why no TP in the bathrooms? Some of us have colds and need to blow our noses... Fast and quick shoutouts/props/etc...Gavin - thanks for the ride, for chilling @ my place while I (slowly) got my act in gear, and for waiting to give me a life back at the end, despite the wait for, in the end, nothing...Brandi/Dave/Dave/Jose/Erin/Becki - good seeing/meeting U all, hope U had a good time chilling @ my place afterwards, thanks all for keeping it down to a reasonable level...2 pees @ my place whose names I forget but only have computer access @ work - ditto, but also thanks for the toys! |

thanks to ross and scott for a kick ass last party...i won't be having any real party gigs down here....only clubs so it was a nice note to end on. Sorry i couldn't go out afterwards....thought it might be a bad idea to feel like crap my last week there, u know...plus i was feelin a bit poopy from the night before :tounge1:
Anywho, i should get back to the beach...tee hee hee...just kiddin...i'm playin at the club tonight...totally stoked. Everyone here is super nice and they're all excited to see a "girl dj" woo hoo!!! Should be quite the gong show... luv u and miss u guys....bye for now lisa |

What u mean I missed another party? people gotta start calling me. but I heard it went off and The guy workin the door ROCKED! but didnt like people bitching about cheap ass door tickets!
hehehehe That party went OFF. Almost got whiplash from looking at all the Hotties! Oh and ill have my digicam next time to film Raver Girls Gone Wild. hehehe peace! |
