Congratz Unconscious Brothers!
Music was GREAT (GJ EVERYONE), i didn't catch all of your sets, but atleast i got called a pimp by taylormade, and omega_image said hi to me (OMG HE'S MY HERO). Room 1: Tazix & Greg C. you guys have ALWAYS known i love you guys. can't wait tilll schpookay to miss your sets again ;=( Lights and sound were prime (gj money). It was hot, but thank god for the two who brought in the fans (you made a HOOJ difference). Room 2: Was dark, but did anyone else see EVERYONE going off in the pitch black? What a show by the Twisted DJ's! Precise ROCKED IT (with a lighter and glow stick [crazy skillz]), Cinto and On The Roxx just creamed the crowd. Monitors kept shorting themselves out. But, what can you expect with only 2 speakers running ALL the sound. WAY TO BLOW THE POWER GUYS!! True proof that 'we ROCKED it!' Way to go promoters, you guys dealt with a lot that night; and i can't WAIT till your next party. THANK YOU WINSTON for bringing me my ID back. That meant a lot to me. To all the people who blazed with me. Thanks for keeping me blazed while i worked (and god, do i miss doing shit like that *sigh*). There were SO MANY hot and cute girls there! They people were vibey, drunk and or drugged the fuck out (which is fine by me, because we all had fun, and no one got hurt). We went the whole night, and it was PERFECT. Props to everyone who came (can't name you all, because i saw everyone at the party), thanks for supporting the unconscious bro's. Not only did you guys throw an absolutely amazing first party, but everyone can see you guys have the ability to do it consistantly. Uh-oh Did it, and i'm HELLA proud of those chaps, and now you guys are well on your way to stardom! btw, sorry for being a jerk to anyone i was a jerk to! If i made you pay, or gave you a hard time or whatever, I had to do it to make it worth Kamal and Harp's while. If you don't usually pay or whatever, whatever, thanks for paying this time, and we all hope you had an awesome fucking rave. |

i probably shouldnt have gone without sleeping after Capital Punishment so i fell asleep on the floor but all in all good party

Well everyone, Id just like to say that I had a great time at phase one! Everyone was so friendly, even the guy i accidentally elbowed in the mouth when i was dancing (i am so very sorry sir) The breaks room was bumping, hearing some of my favorite tracks from my favourite DJs! Hirshee! Damn man, you play a wicked set EVERY time i hear you...keep it up bro! In the Trance room, Tazix and Greg C.. bumpin it like there was no tomorrow!
So many good dancers providing such a great vibe. I'd have to say that even though it was so super hot and sticky, the vibe felt so much closer, so much more life to it than any party ive ever been to. I just wanna shout out to all the people I met that night, fnk`ers and non fnk`ers, so many great people! Nobot, Sketch-E, Initial C, you guys are the bomb! Crazy Jay! what can i say! too cool man! Kimmay Candy Blossom and company was nice to see you people again, always a pleasure. I'm finally up after a night of fuckin krazie partying! Mad Props to the Unconscious Brothers. (kamal and harp)!!!
Greg C.'s set was fucking nuts...that pretty much set the tone for my night because it was just so fucking hot upstairs from like 12 - 4!! but with the tracks he was throwing down i just had to stay!!! Man what can I say about Tazix's set....nothing but it was fuckin another sick set after hearing throw down another sick set a night before. Mets tons of people had a great time! hahaha thanx to all those made it a worth while! Only the set up in the trance room could have been a bit better. All in All...definitly a worth while Party! Neal - Uh-Oh! Represent!!!! I got there at like 1:30ish... anyway, I had a blast!! What a fun night.
I didn't spend to much time in the rooms with music, but the room with smoke was fun! All the brown people walking around starting shit and giving me the creeps put a damper on the whole thing. To much attitude! I was upstairs for like half hour and the music in the super dark room was good. However way, way, way, way tooooo HOT! I smoked to much last night! :sick: Bob, Bob, Bob... you and that finger of yours!! And thats all I have to say! Brian: We must go drinking sometime... it just has to be done! i just have to say one more time fucking AWESOME job on throwing your first party kamal and harp! you guys had shit so well thought out and organized (paying the djs up front and thank you cards! wtf! haha awesome). the decorations and sound in the main room was absolutely perfect for the type of party it was. and damn that strobe light was totally destroying any balance i might have had left at that point at the night!
the sound in the breaks/house room was perfect volume and quality-wise (too bad the power was nutso but whatever it all worked out), and when all the lights were running it was killer. hell it was even more fun in the total dark everyone going NUTS to on the roxx, and then people going completely fucking INSANE for Precise and Cinto's sets. wow. =) this party totally reminded me of why i still love these things. like greg said, i totally needed this party. cant wait for the next one! ;) |

that was one packed party but tite cuz u knew like sooo many peeps, had no idea it was gunna b that fuckin great! :smoke1: tha beats were wicked in the breaks...get down massive! Well I think it's good time to write to y'all about my feeling on PHASE ONE ....
First off: OLIVER, i'm soo sorry man, total mind lapse! having the flu and all didn't help much either! I owe ya a make-up for that one bruve! Kamal, and HARP.. Congrats on the first show with a turnout and a vibe that has blown away many of the latest shows. Still almost everyone is getting the good turn outs with a good vibe! I think our small shows are come back in effect! BUT DAAAMMMMMNNNN! Tons of fun! Even though the sound cut out 5 time during my set, I still had a blast. I had soo much fun playing the second half of my set the best though. Reason Being is that YOU GURLS/GUYS ALL RULE! It was soo nice to see a crowd with that much energy in Vancouver again! thank you to those who were there! This is why the small show happen! I go there when On The Roxx was playing, awsome job boys, as usual. Precise sick job man, and you gotta love the long trak pee break hey! lol... How did ya like the glow stick a very nice lady got for me to use as a temp. light. haha. Mr. DJ Greg C. awsome set man, good to see you behind the decks again, it's been a while! Ryan Ross, awsome job bro! too bad about the sound for you aswell! i think most of us got a piece of that action! #1 Mutha Funkin Booya Thank you goes to my main man AKEEL for taking his own time to help out with the sound in a HUGE way when all the circuts went out! much luv bro! KRAIG, ADAM, KEV, OLIVER, MATEO, and everyone else that pitched in and helped! THANK YOU SOO MUCH! And last but definatly not least in any means. First off mad props to Kamal and Harp, u guys busted ur asses for this show and it was fuckin perfect!!
I was at the venue pretty early, started setting up and drinking around 7. By around 11 the place started to fill up and I was fuckin hammered. Most of the night after that was a blur, yelled at some candy kids, chilled and partied. All the DJs were dope, aside from a few sound glitches everything went smooth. Thanks to the boys that stayed behind to help out the cleanup effort. Shout outs to all my drinking parteners for the night, too many to list. Thanks to all ya fuckin freak show ravers that made my night interesting!! Money~ |
