Grooveside 3
Grooveside was awesome party.. not as huge as i expected, but i was impressed by the amount of people who were bustin' out at the DNB stage the whole night. AK1200 layed down some dope tracks like Concord dawn - tonight Pendulum rmx, that track on a loud system absolutely destroyed it! ak1200 was good, but mixing was a little slow and not the best. Fresh on the other hand, fuckin killed it! laying down massive bassline after another, from some simon bassline smith to his Foreigner & floodlight productions, pendulum - voyager was in there i think, Marky & xrs - get down. tonnes of unreleased stuff i never heard. and spot on mixing the entire set.. what an awesome time...

in seattle at some warehouse..not as many people as i thought, but for once the sound, sounded like it was setup better on the DNB stage then the main indoor stage.. it was awesome!! BASS that actually shakes ur insides. someone needs to bring Fresh from bad company to a party up here, holy shit, when he mixed marky & xrs - get down into temple of doom the floor exploded with bass..

Well I was there..and it was an interesting party. Not as many people as I expected..Unless you were into the drum and bass (which I am not) then maybe was not the best of parties..The other rooms really lacked any sort of vibe at all..But the drum and bass tent..WOW..Talk about the bass..Wouldn't want to be one of the people whos car alarms went off all night..
For me the intersting high lights would be the drive down where we gave agrodave a little taste of rotterdam music in the car..heehee.. Sorry Slide and I had to leave early but we were really tired..Hope everybody made it back safely..Thats all I can think of for now..Gotta get some sleep..Chow 4 Now :) |
