CJ Stone @ The Cave

just got home from the Cave. CJ Stone rocked it! Much smaller crowd tonight though; unfortunately there were a lot of other things happening in the city. As usual Jimboski and the Shy Brothers threw down wicked sets. CJ .. wow.. I wasn't expecting most of what I heard. He threw down a mix of almost everything. Lots of old school tracks and lots of new stuff. Found it interesting how he only played a couple minutes of each track. Also good to see him gettin out from the DJ booth and interacting with the crowd at the front of the stage. Great night :y:

i agree. in the 50+ parties ive been to, his was the best. he had some sweet new exclusive remixes, including that tested classic, zombie nation. i heard an ayumi hamasaki track. 2 remixes of infinity
some just crazy shit

he played some track with steel drums repeated by stomping... sort of like caribean gum-boots dancing. that track was mind blowing. if anyone knows the name of that track, dear god, tell me now. sounded almost safri -duo ish, but it wasnt.

he also played 2 sweet synergies: put your hands up in the Beauty of silence, and i forget the other one. just some outstanding work. you should all be ashamed for going to hybrid... its well known that while being great producers, they arent so good at djing. CJ was... unbelieveable.
