Well it certainly wasn't as packed as some big names have gotten sonar ( badboybill, djdan, donald glaude, seb fontaine, etc ) but there was a good crowd out.
The battle between Christian Alvarez and Dave Armstrong went to Christian hands down as he got the crowd pumped.
Then Hatiras spun a normal set, until space invaders came on and everyone hit the dance floor. He remixed the song over and over until it built to a huge crowd pleasing romp.
I would say that was the nights highlight.
Plus everyone looked fucked up as usual, so all in all it was a great time.
I wish hatiras would have come out a little later and let A&A continue dueling, cuz they had some of the best tracks of the night.

Anyone catch what song Christian Alvarez was playing in the beginning right before Hatiras came on?
It was a girl singing, he let that spin for awhile, sounded almost spanish. Wish for the life of me I could remember what she was saying ... then it built into base with horns and beats, then would cut everything except the girl singing. Dance with me or something like that ... anyone?

i'm pretty sure dave droped that, i remember him playin a latinee house track right before hatiras took over. christian only droped 3 tracks that night and to my knowlegde none of them had a chick vocal, nonetheless it was a killer track!

I thought I noticed a glimmer in Hatiras eye, most DJ's are humble when you talk to him, but he was all about giving you his number and stuff saying we should work together. Nonetheless he spun some pretty sick tracks.

The Shapeshifter's track is called Lola's Theme, I just discovered it off Prism's funky house set, and right now I can't get enough of it, sick sick sick :PartEkid: . I don't think it's the track that you are talking about, but I've heard those 2 play that latin track at least once before, I think it was at Sonar a while ago when it was that Battle Sessions night. As for the name of it, sorry man, I have no clue, but it's a pretty sweet track.
