what a fukkin kick ass party.. awesome djs but the volume in the main room was so low... it could of been louder... the set up seemed a lil budget too but sall good i had a good time anyways... juss wished that scot played around 2 ish i was kinda burned out when he was on .. oh well

I had a hard time getting the vibe, too. I didin't dance the usual 8 hours, I probably only danced for a total of an hour! I just, could NOT get myself into it. I didin't enjoy it as much as I should have. But it definantly was nice meeting all of you. ;)

After a flight that was delayed two hours, a shoot out on the Interstate five freeway, and an eighty dollar cab ride (gross..why did i spend that much money?) I finally made it to Insmonia. Basically at that point it was just the principle of the thing. So many things were going wrong in my night and trying to keep me from going to the party, that i was like...screw you i'm going to go anyway!! Party was....okay. I wasn't diggin' a lot of the music. Maybe cuz i arrived late and jet-laged, I dunno. I had more fun being sketch at the afterparty (the real party was outside on the sidewalk..what?!) and taking another cab out to Coquitlam to hang at this guys house. (sorry guy, i can't remember your name) SHOOOOut OUTTSSsss BiManda: Wow. What can i say, but you light up my life and day and night. (cue cheesy music). You were so hot that night and we raved on until we couldn't rave anymore...then we just sketched. fuck. too many things to write. MOTHER RAVE! Joanna: We're tied still. WoW, that was a fuckign wicked party, where do i start...
I got shitfaced on the skytrain/outside the plaza, had half a litre of vodka to myself over the span of maybe an hour (GO POLSKA!) so by the time i get in, me and Chris were just walking onto the dancefloor to do some flailing, then by some sort of Fate, or whatever, i see Kasia (lucyinthesky), we were talking on msn previously and wanted to meet each other, funny how the first person i saw was her, so, anyways, i go get my ringpops, probably fell a few times on my way there, or so Kasia says..but anyways, i get em eventually and my buddy buys some glowsticks. Next thing i remember is suckign face for hours on end, then going to that fnk thingy to take some pics...fuck, i look like a zombie in one of them, and i didnt have my vizor on :( cause it randomly disappeared off of my head every 5 minutes...Kasia :p anyways, had a LOT of fun flailing, chilling and meeting up with peopel taht i havent seen in a while. That party was amazing. The Stanton warriors Rocked. I spent basically the entire nite in the breaks room, dancing my ass off. there weresome really good dancers that im super jealous of, and some really good breakers!! The ircle was good. Even tho i was in the breaks room most the nite, I did not miss Scott Project and it was off the hook!! i love the plaza I have had some amazing party nites there, always good times. last nite ent by so fast, I missed the fnk meets, which is pretty shitty, i missed the first one by about 10min, I totally lost track of time and someone told me we had just missed the meet, there is aways next time i suppose. All of the stages were good, the party had a nice vibe for suure. I met some cool nanaimo kids, that was nice i always love meeting island party kids. I stayed until the very end, when the sun first came up it reeally pissed me off, all i wanted was the darkness and 2 keep on partying!!
Phil- It was great having u down from the island, ive really missed u my old party pal ;) We met @ a plaza party 4 yrs ago!! We will definately have 2 party more often hopefully next time I can come 2 the island for a party! Dean- It was fun partying wit ya u drunkard!! good times w/the 151! last nite was sick! At first when I thought about the party I thought there was a good vibe but that was mostly in my own head, it was really bizarre at the party because there really was no vibe it was very neutral. I definitely enjoyed the party but that’s fucked. Vancouver parties don’t usually get the best vibes. Island parties always have the best vibes from my experience. Ive been to some small parties in van that had a really great vibe, I thought Escape did!! Whatevs, Party On! |

meh, I didn't feel that party at all. It was definitely not worth the money I paid to get in. It was mediocre at best. The only thing that made it half decent is that I got to hang out with my friend Carly and meet some fnkers....uh...who's names elude me right now...you know who you are! :)
Overall the party was pretty lame...I think I will stick to AGRO parties from now on.... |

wow, interesting night... Had a lot of mixed reactions with this party... Good... Bad... Both?
Saturday morning i got up at 6:30am after only 3 hours sleep, drove to seattle for a car meet, drove home then went to insomnia... I brought 2 local friends along with me for the first time ever.. It was their first rave... This is kinda what ruined my night.. They were pretty scared and uptite it looked like. I almost had to "babysit" them all night. :( Stage setup in the main room kinda looked too simplistic and there were various sound problems as mentioned before... Either too much treble, not enough bass or vice versa depending on the time of the night. 2nd half of Marco V's set seemed a little better and Scot Project did an awesome job. Unfortunately my friends had a bad E trip, and felt sick so I had to leave early(6:30) to take them home.. :( Overall it was a decent party... Oh, and about the pictures and my offical "camera whoring".. I did manage to get around 35 pics. My sis went to hawaii and took my battery charger so I arrived with half dead batteries :finger: Oh well, i get to be camera whore again at Twisted :p Shouts: Vince, Jeff, Colin: glad we all made it after seattle...didnt see you guys too much though Attila, Sean(AqvaYak), Angie, Anita, etc. (our crew): Great partying with you guys again!
