Had a great time at this party. Music was great. Don't get to hear speed garage that often. I shook it quite a bit that night. Had a great time before the party too. Skytraining allll the way down to Queensborough, meeting up with amanda and then getting lost. Stupid fireman should know how to give directions. Can't believe that we actually hopped into the back of that man's van! Who are we?! At least he drove us to the park and didn't murder us, that was a plus. "Yeah....Jake, I think that's them....no wait...that's a little kids birthday party. haha. oh well"
Pre-drinking was fun. I was hammered when i walked through the door. I'm sure everyone within a twenty yard radius of me could tell i was pissed drunk. I don't think I've ever yelled that much in my life. Props to Sheena and Suebitch for the 007 backpack! And Suebitch for her 'just' hawaiin punch drink. haha. I got to meet quite a few new people. Neoh KD and tuna rules! haha. Matteo...yes i know britney spears' Toxic, does that make me a bad person? And why did that guy think i was Soma? I look nothing like Soma. Yay for Erin becoming a hardcore raver again and staying later and dancing harder! Hehe. Jovi, we'll get naked some more at History of Breaks too I"m sure. Afterwards Dalyn and I took the journey back to my place at UBC, and polished off the rest of my Rum. But then we decided that more alcohol was in order....so being lazy we got a taxi to go pick us up some more Rum. Got hammered at my place and listened to loud music, and made a fool of myself in front of the new people moving into my building. Then we booked it over to Bevan's house. Thanks for the grilled cheese buddy! and the half a bagel. and the nap. oh man. so tired. All in all a very nice night/day yesterday. |

I BIG shout out to Cint-HO and all the peeps involved with No-Name Productions. The venue sounded the best I have heard it sound yet proof that more sound isn't always better! On top of that, it looked great! A lot of thought, time and effort went into making all those different props and stuff. The Plant-Lamp Shop was hilarious.
A big thanks for having Adam and I play along side Lex and Kev - that was a blast. Well... except for Lex throwing down a track and then forgetting when it ends! LMFAO... It's all good cause we had a blast. Sorry for taking off so early and not staying longer as we were still somewhat destroyed from Lex's birthday GONG show the night before! Soooooo tired. And especially being without a car that night (which is a another story in itself), Lex was my lift home! (Thanks again Lex!). Cheers. |

Thanks to everyone who made this party happen, I had a great time......
And the people who did the graffiti have been delt with, and I made sure it will not happen agian....the person that did most of it was a guy from kammloops and will not be attending these parties again, and to the other person who skribed the door in the washroom is just a poser, he know nothing about graff or RESPECT, once again cinto im sorry that people like this have to come to your awsome parties and ruin it for the rest of us, I have made sure this ppl (you know who you are) have smartined up and will not fuck up again.. EVERONE666 thats fucked up that we didnt know it was each other posting beef, its actually really funny.....good to see you agian man, lets get together and do a denny's dine and dash soon.....were you really doing liquid??? |

Props and many thanks to NNP for putting tons of effort into the party. It definately shows, wicked sound (B A S S anyone?) and dope decorations. I showed up a little later than intended and unfortunately missed out on what must have been a wicked set from Sir Kutz, Akeel and Soma. Hirshee and Christian Alvarez were tearing it up proper and Matty vs. Manos One was sick, lots of variety in the track selection and that mc was dope. I had SO much fun taggin' it up with my boy Cinto, good opportunity to dust off some speed garage choons and of course we had to bust out some breaks... Big ups to everyone rocking it on the dancefloor for our set, remember it's the people that make the party and you guys made it a fun one for me. =)
Sorry to hear that this will be the last NNP party, I've been to a few and I must say, good times were had by me. Stoked to see what kinda stuff you have in the works for the future. Best of luck boys! Finally, What's with all the disrespect!?! If this kinda stuff continues it won't be the cops, or the city, or the venue owners that put a stop to our scene, it will be ourselves, tearing it apart from the inside out. I was only there for a little while since my Sunday was packed, but overall, it was alright, i guess...there was a really a lack of people at this event, maybe like what...100? small party... Anyways, night wasn't that bad, me Erik and Jay hit up Mugs and Jugs beforehand, so there were some good times.
Shout outs go out to: Erik, Jay, Neil, Ricey, Dan, the Polaks I met and whoever else I missed/was too fuckered too remember. Anyways, here are some NOT SO BAD pics :p

Big props to everyone @ no name and to everyone who made it possible. I had a blast. There was some great sound + a lot of work went into the venue. Big ups to JOsh for putting so much work into that. Left earlier than i thought, went out for a smoke and ended up heading off to sleep. sorry for duckin out early. (sometime around 330-4) Heard about the graffiti and bottle incident, that sucks. I loved the hours long jungle interlude. havn't danced like that at a party in a while! thanks to the people who kept feeding me booze. *2 thumbs up to everyone* |
