NU NRG (Vandit Records, www.nunrg.it) Italy
Live PA SET

Andrea Ribeca and Giuseppe Ottaviani, two ambitious young guys from Italy, who have the same musical objective in common, founded NU NRG in 1999. Their outstanding trance melodies become their distinctive mark and inspire the project NU NRG. Their first productions together have a lot of success in the roman region and the track „ Dreamland“ finally leads NU NRG to Paul van Dyk, who signed the guys to his credible label Vandit Records. “Dreamland“ made it into the German ODC TOP 40 charts and was also featured on Paul van Dyk’s Album „ The Politics Of Dancing“. Now with their last productions “Space Flower EP” and “Connective EP” along with massive remixes, these 2 are going to show Vancouver the true sounds of the rising NU NRG!!!

John ‘OO’ Fleming (Joof Records, www.johnOOfleming.com) UK
Still reeling from his astounding success at Number 27 in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 Poll for 2003, John 00 Fleming has just announced a residency at New York’s Arc club for 2004! Fleming will appear at the club every 4-6 weeks, bringing his pure trance sound to the discerning New York audience. Filling other residencies at Arc and alternating with John are Danny Howells, Jeff Mills and Sander Kleinenberg! John 00 Fleming has become one of the front-runners in the worldwide club scene. 2004 brings a new level of demand for one of few DJs capable of filling clubs on a global level. From the studio, February 2003 welcomed ‘White Label Euphoria 2’ on Telstar. The release of his long awaited solo project ‘Le Voyage’ E.P. is now bouncing out across the airwaves with Pete Tong’s, Judge Jules and Dave Pearce on Radio One, Tall Paul on KISS FM and is receiving DJ support from Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenforld and Marco V! The next JOOF release “I’m Not Fooled” is due June/July. Prepare to embrace the sounds of JOOF!

Remix work has also been flooding in for the the young man over recent months with his name appearing on tracks from Rob Tissera, Steve Hill, Fallout Boy, Ian Van Dahl & the late and great Tony De Vit. Most recently he had the honour of co-writing and remixing the new JX single called “Restless” which reached the UK's National Top 20 in February 2004. This rise to fame and the fact that Guyver is one of the most respected and sought after production names in the hard dance scene has resulted in his name being frequently emblazoned on huge compilations like Extreme Euphoria and Godskitchen compilations. From djing at the MTV music awards to rocking a 8 city tour through Germany with The Crystal Method and Uberzone.

Zacharia (360 BPM, www.graylife.com) USA
If you're not familiar with some of Seattle's drum 'n' bass history, here's a quick overview: The 360 BPM Crew came together in 1996 after being involved in what was Seattle's first under-21 drum 'n' bass night at the now defunct Club Vinylized. By throwing parties and bringing in major DJs and producers, they helped establish what is now Seattle's tight-knit drum 'n' bass community. Zach Herman (AKA Zacharia), 360 BPM's original founding member, is the crew's sole remaining overseer and hasn't deviated from the original intent of putting together solid parties that represent local talent as well as players from abroad. Herman explains that he's driven to maintain direction within the local drum 'n' bass scene, along with fostering environments where people can experience the music in a "proper setting."

The album includes a full range of musical styles from harder edged industrial rock to light melodic electronica. This year Angel is sure to unleash more new sounds that will surprise and delight his fans. Angel has become one of the pioneering artists in today’s dance scene, having helped carry techno and house music into the new millennium as he continues to push the boundaries of dance music into the future.

Too bad there won't be a Fusion... but that means IMF will come earlier! Woohoo! I'll still be in town for that one!! Yahhhh!

Aight to kick things off... my DJ suggestions:

- CJ Stone, Brooklyn Bounce, Marc et Claude... The Fusion Dreams lineup was pretty good already
- Phynn, Smith & Pledger, George Acosta, Christopher Lawrence, Markus Schulz
- long shots: PvD, Carl Cox
- again? AvB, Above & Beyond
- locals: K-Pryde!

Awesome! IMF 2003 was one of the best parties I attended... can't wait for this year!
Just a suggestion: Figure out a better solution for rooms 3 and 4 last year they were in the lighted hallway, and they wernt the greatest, but the main room and the breaks room were off the hook!
