It got shut down before midnight. It was a good venue, good tunes, good people.... being one of like 10 people actually watching Christian Alvarez was cool. I mean, Christian is a fucking awesome DJ, and I would expect to see him packing out a club or something in front of hundreds of people... but there he was, busting out the sick tunes for like 20+ people. I was pretty stoked about that. AND! His set fucking kicked ass! I kind of missed Krazy Kujo though, I was looking forward to watching his crazy moves, thats pretty much why I came out tonight in the first place... anyway I got to dance for a couple hours at least.
After we got shut down I headed over to Dave's after party and met some people... then went downtown and went to Shine and saw Vinyl Ritchie... good times... Anyway, unfortunately I think that's the end of my stint in the underground party scene. 25 bucks three times in a row (I went to groove 1 as well, AND Unite, all shut down) for a couple hours of a party is too hard on my wallet to keep up. It's too bad too, because I really like the underground/smaller party vibe better than massives. It looks like the cops have some kind of system for detecting and shutting down parties like that. Until this situation boils over or whatever, I don't want to have to face a 50/50 chance of getting shut down every time I go to a party. Anyway, thanks to Dave from Agro and the other promoters for putting together a solid party that could definitely have gone off if it was given the chance. Peace, Dave |

except after it got busted and being left on east hastings by yourself.....and being from the island doesnt help all that much either....good thing i had called someone and they came to pick me up :) |

this was my first party so i was excited, i was having so much fun and on 5 caps of e so i was very pissed off when the cops came. oh well, the trance was wicked. i ended up dancing in the back alley for a few hours by myself which was still fun

WTF HAPPANEd TO ME LAST NITE!!
last time i drink that much, and then pop...all i member is leaving mr.daves party...next thing i know, i wake up in a ditch...i THINK in langly...i dont even know wherei am right now...gotta love internet cafe's that open early right? anyways ya...so i walked into this place...the owner asked me what happened to me last nite, i was like "I dunno why"...he told me to go to the washroom...i had PLUR writtin all over my forehead...i also had some kandi on(WTF!) and some fun-fur phatpants(they was yellow)...Uhh, i dont even own a pair of these...so, if anyone knows what happened to me, PLEASE help me fill the gaps...cuz i think someone had fun last nite(me being one of em) and i wanna know what it was!....P.S, where's my wallet?...i only had enuff to use the comp(heh wut a nerd)..but jake, if u read this, i'm lost |

Mike, ask the person who is running it what the address of the place is. Or just flat out tell him you're lost and you need to know where you are. Then post and someone will come save you.

*laughs* We had a small house party at my house last night, and I think it's one of the only times the cops haven't come to the door to -try- to shut us down. They never suceed. Oscar da Grouc - that's some fucked up shit, yo! I don't think I'd want to be spotted anywhere in bright yellow fun-fur phat pants... The worst I had last night was highlighter all over one side of my hand in trippy designs. It looked wicked in the blacklight downstairs.... If anyone is going to Zone 5 Transfer next weekend, I'll see y'all there. |

Wow what a night...So got down to the party as it was just starting me Dave,Loren,Steveo,And Neoh decided to sit in our cars and get hammered before...I spent my entire time raving in a parking lot get sloshed and then decided to get down to the venu...We walked across the street to find out it had been fuckin broken up already...Boo...That is my review...
