we are in (or closer to) vancouver [WEST]. You are in the valley [EAST]
if it stops raining here, and it IS raining in the valley, eventually the un-rainy weather will move to where you are.

Ok... put it this way. You STUDIED it in College. I TAUGHT it to PILOTS. The weather ALWAYS moves East... maybe North East, sometimes South East, but ALWAYS East nonetheless. Aight? Until someone miraculously(sp?) alters THE ROTATION OF THE EARTH (Calling Spaceman Spiff...) it's not going to change. /end rant
