So true, this has been a bad summer thus far where undergrounds are concerned, but I have a feeling that this party will do okay, provided they keep the party kids inside and the music only as loud as necessary. We were able to run all night this past weekend and we were right on Hastings so who knows? Maybe this party will be just as lucky. Its a combination of organization and pure chance. Will the cop roll down his window and drive by real slow listening for bass or will he speed on by? Regardless, I'm sure Matt will be able to pull it off. I have to disagree when you say people cut corners for 10-15$ underground party??? some of the best partys I have been to have been undergound that are even less than that (this is just my opinion)

let me ask you this??? why is shifted tickets only 30$ and its going to be legal? and you are charging 20$ for a party that has a good chance of getting busted? and is that all you will have for the vip is "food while it lasts" couches and a playstation? you can buy two pops some munchies and rent a game of your chioce for less than what you are charging for it. and also, now I hear that you have lost your venue, and have postponed your party, but you are so shure this party is going to be great, I see a problem here. I actually see another "FEVER" happaning, but thats just the way i feel....

and can you tell me a little bit about your conssetion? what you will have and whats your prices?

btw who is going to be spinning speed garage?

I feel you about the insults and negative words, but I think people just wanna make shure they are not flushing 30-40$ down the shitter wich has happend many times for people including me

^ i totally feel ya, and thats the really sad part. it only takes one failed party to totally crush people's faith in the scene, especially if they're new to it all and haven't experienced the really fun parties that have gone off without a hitch.

the only way that this party wont be broken up if that on the day of the event you have to go to a check point and meet someone get a map (not a confusing one like FREE A UNITE MAKEUP PARTY)then on top of that have another like ten minutes away from the event, i will considering coming when i call the info line the day of the rave if you take this into consideration cuz underground is better than a legal event if thrown properly but if not ill be at shifter good luck matt

yeah its all the people there... if people act stupid and make alot of noise outside the venue and on the streets around of course it will attract attention

but if a party is setup good and people arent acting stupid, people who drive by not knowing whats going on shouldn't think anything wierd is happening. If you can drive by a party and not suspect anything i doubt it would get busted... its the parties that you drive by and say.. oh hey look its a rave... that get busted

I think the promoter of this event is actually trying to attract people outside of FnK who don't mind spending the money. Yes there's a big risk, but if he plans everything correctly, his unlicensed event can very likely go all night.

What are some recent unlicensed parties that went all night?
