...or should I say DEFINITELY NOT FREE.
For what I paid in gas only to turn around and leave when I got there, I could have gone to the bar and been shittered and home in bed by 3am. Next time your infoline says 4 KM, make sure it's actually 4 KM- I reset my odometer when we got onto the logging road, it was actually closer to 19. Next time your infoline says 45 minutes outside of Vancouver, make sure it's actually 45 minutes - it was actually a 35 minute drive from the highway ALONE (and I was doing 110-120 in a 60 zone). 45 minutes from Vancouver to exit + 35 minutes to logging road + 30 minutes down logging road = 1 hour 50 minutes x 2 (there and back) = 3 hours and 40 minutes of total driving, which is WAY TOO MUCH. I know you probably had it off in the fucking boonies so it wouldn't get busted, but really, that was TOO FAR. I expected it to be that far, with it being so busy around the area lately its obvious they would go far away to make it actually happen. Its a smart move by Kelo b/c even though some people are really bummed out about travelling all the way there, most are happy it happened.

haha we got lost for 3 freakin hours!!!
We drove all the way back to Chiliwack, almost went home but instead just went to 7 11 and looked at a map and it was pretty easy after that I know what happened though. On the infoline it says to take an imediate left after Chiliwack River Bridge. What she probably didn't know is there seemed to be 2 Chiliwack River bridges. The first one made everyone really confused cause there was no where to turn. So everyone kept driving and driving but felt lost so we'd turn back around cause it felt like we were driving to far! Also I guess the girl on the infoline didn't really judge the time correctly cause it was much more than a 15 minute drive up that road! and btw Galaxie =) .....the party was right near the 4 km marker that was on the trees ;) So yes indeed it was 4km from the begining of that gravel road. Was the party worth driving 5 hours? Everyone looked like they had a great time so I'm sure it was. Getting there was half of the fun The set up and dj line up is very expensive for a party with free admission So you gotta give Kelo props for that! Most people would've just had a basic set up.....there was even a laser at this one! $$$ So all and all the info line could've been better planned out cause 100's of people got lost! But the effort and money put into the FREE party was second to none Whatever money was spent on gas was definatly worth it to have a party put on like this So I think we've gotta give props when props are due |

ya we endid up driven around for 4hrs and callin everyone but i take it no 1 had servie Fuck it pissed me off so much to think it was a round the corner and everyone in my car jus say lets jus go . AND WHO WAS RIGHT YA ME

Yea, we went over the bridge and then went left for god knows how long. We turned around and went to this small creek that had balloons by it, I thought maybe that might be it. Some messed up guy there told us to cross over a bridge and take a right on bordoux or something like that... yea we got hella lost. The whole night ended up being 5 hours of driving around.

jebus christ... WE culdnt find the party... there was a big raver meetin at the FIRST left turn after the bridge... but it was jsut a parking lot.. better directions next time plz.. sp we got soo fuckgin frustrated me mush and amanda brittni and dave that we fuckgin gave up and went home... so much for that waste of time next time do a better fuckgin info line seriously it was crap.. it wuld be ok if we was the only people who culdnt find it... but serisouly there was liek 20 cars sittign tehre and we was all tryna find it w.e man people who got the the party hope ya had a fun time all i know is it seriously was a fuckgin waste of time and gas

racve to the grave...half the fun of partying (in the summer) is the advenmture you take to get there and the adventure you take to get back..... me and my buddy made it a point to hitch hike to almost all the parties outdoor last year.....why??cuz its a fuckin blast...adds so much more fun.... so quit complaing and enjoy the road ahead....if yur not gonna enjoy it then dont go...this party was put on for free...for us.... good party boyz n girlz... *b0h* |

wow this night was one of my WORST nights I've had in a looooooong time.
Maybe the rave was ok once you people got there so i won't say anything bad bout that cuz I didn't actually make it...but FUCK If I ever go through so much shit to try to go to a rave someone shoot me.. RAVES IN THE BOONIES..FUCKING SUCK. Fair enough if it was like a 4 day rave but to go to that place for like one night is just pointless.But i'm actually thankful this happened...it was like a kick in the face to remind me why I want to stop going to raves.. I wasted a night of my life for this shit!! |

RYDICULUS!
That took us 3 hours from Langley to find... i couldnt beleive we actually found it though... theres no way we would have found it along with the carloads of people behind us if there wasnt people at one point finally standing in the middle of the road telling us to keep left. The map needed sum written directions atleast. Anyways when we got there it was good drunken times. Left at like 4am and i passed out in the backseat. On the way there after being lost for so long atleast we got to see ALOT of nature haha and we took pics of a baby fox (we think thats what it was) playing on the side of the road. Good music all nite but it was sooo hard trecking to the second stage cus of the freakin trench in the middle that we kept falling in. It was pretty far... i dont know if we'd ever go that far again... just to Apex i guess so see ya there! |

What a bitch to find the party!!! Driving around for a REALLY long time but... after much patience and some intelligent driving from Bryan (pbreak), a mass convoy found the party all at once. -- It was funny to hear those in that convoy cheering and screaming once they had found it!
Once I got there, the DnB stage was bumpin so I went to work on the second stage and got that fired up and workin. Once we got that running, then we could get down to business... Cint-to-tha-HO layed down a great set of Speed Garage to open that stage with... nice work bro. After that, I had a blast playing three for three in a triple tag team along side the boys from Seattle - Sonny Chiba and Soulkid! I hope you kids enjoyed it! Once things were finally running, and you actually found the party, it was a good time! We left the party at about 5:30-6 and I was absolutely and totally exhausted! Ahhhh good times! Cheers. |
