Wow tonight was a great night
Electron - good chilling with you before/after, thanks for the offer Marty - One Last Track!, thanks for keeping the party going Myles - Good seeing you again Danny - Nice set after you worked out the bugs in the system, really enjoyed the last 2-3 songs you played, very progressive Sean G - Thanks for the CD, i'll play it after i get a few hours sleep Harp/Kamal - It was fun chilling with you guys before hand. For all of the people involved, it was a good night and a good setup. Thanks for putting this on. Mark~ |

Unreal evening. The yacht was setup unlike I anything I have ever been on before. The mini dance floor, the black light setup, the massive sound in the main room. Lucky for us the weather parted and we had a pretty mild evening on English bay, no drizzles and moderate cloud. Shame we left an hour late from dock due to setup and whatnot, this wasn't a problem.. I just wanted to get moving! :)
Gareth, Niklas these two really have some sonic sound under their belts. I was blown away track after track. Upstairs our locals didn't give the big boys any light stepping; Harp/Kamal, Seany, Kerry, Sero, Rev. I caught parts of each set, I was never disappointed. Danny. ;) Booze! Wow, the prices were worse then Plush. $5.25 for a luke warm Canadian (they got cold around 2am), shooters they used as single shots were the tiny plastic Champaign ones. I asked for a double and paid $10.50 for it.. geez. However, I was schmoozing with the girl at the bar upstairs and she would usually spill in some extra without the charge. hehe. Such amazing tunes, great people, friends everywhere! I had my right hand man Neoh as my skipper, highlight of my evening. Thanks again dawg. Although throughout the night I was saddened to miss the handful of people I enjoy being around the most. The few who should have been there but were occupied by their own duties.. You were missed. :( Again, im still stunned by the evening, im missing huge holes throughout the night. I will update as I see necessary. Thanks to everyone who came out, UNION shipwrecked that boat! |

well besides the weather n all ......and just makn it on time before departure .. wicked night over all everyone played well .... great to see everyone again ... and yah .... the crew people on the boat were great... hehe... especially the captain... yah they were funny ,,, but yah anyways
everything went smoothly ....nothn but good times.....over all a job well done by the union boys .... till next time .... zz i'm out |

well, that was fun.
the ride home sucked. they turned the music off during kyau & albert - velvet morning (aalto remix) - I was pissed, good none the less. I kept hearing ferry corsten - right of way. Being skipper was fun, but I looked like a straight up goof, I couldent handle it for long. My brain hurts. Holy nammers, batman. shouts to myles, loren, todd, montana, res, nemesis, seany g, GTR, harding, harp and kamal. ;) good times indeed. |

wow what a night. I think almost from when the party actualy got going I was in a down mood. I lost my phone and was freaking out.*but thanks to everyone that was helping me look for it* :) Anyway so I wasn't really having a lot of fun. But it was ok. I played spot the scetchy raver most of the night. And man was there a lot on that boat. lol
I'm just glad in the end I ended up finding my phone. Ringing in some old asian guys jacket pocket. He is just looking at me acting like he doesn't know whats going on. Then he finaly gives up and just hands it to me. lol So yah other then a couple technical dificulties, the music was good. The party was fun. Props to all the people behind the scenes and upfront who put their time and energy into organizing events like these.It's about time someone put a little passion into their events.props to everyone who kept it rocking in room 2 Seany G,Rev,Kerry Wilks,Harp and Kamal.I can't wait to start bragging on tranceaddict how we had Gareth Emery and Niklas harding together on a yacht cruise through burrard inlet.Amazing how some things work like pieces to a puzzle and that's what the union crew is all about.Mad love homeys!

I had an awesome night... GTR and NIklas certainly earnt their money.. every time i went to sit down.. the bastards would mix in another great track.

I just found this thread. (like 2 weeks after).
Well I had a great party up until 2am when everything went black and I was apparently so fucked up. I was on my 4th rum and coke and i put my drink down and then 5 mins later BAM! Watch your drinks people! Why would anyone want to drug the DJ? :( Had great times with Seretonin, your awsome man, seriously! Montana and Res. GTR, Niklas, Danny, JORDAN, Harp and Kamal and all of the other people I met that I don't remember. Awsome party. Like nothing else I've been to! :) ~Sean |
