Two words for this one (which I seem to be using quite often lately)... GONG SHOW!
Happy belated to Andrew and Carrie! Andrew walked in sober but I think we took care of making sure he didn't leave that way! Carrie already walked in drunk but I'm glad to see she's a trooper and kept on drinkin! Shouts to the gong show crew - Venita, Bev, Andrew, Carrie, Christian A., Charlie2na, Oliver, Myra and Rhia! (I may be forgetting somebody so if I am... my bad) -- It was also good seeing Mikey, Rawb and a few other FnK'ers there as well. Venita and Bev were quite "entertaining" as they walked into the club already hammered!  Christian and I were also pounding them back... The real funny shit was happening at Denny's after the club. I so won that teddy bear! -- The gong show crew doubted my skillz but I stepped up! :-p There was also a water fight which had all of us leaving the restaurant soaked. And what was with the cheering section we had going on for that waiter dude... what was his name again?Anyway... good times were had! By the way - I know Sonar was fined for a sound violation, but the sound there REALLY, REALLY sucks ass. Absolutely no bass... all mids and highs = YUCK. Hopefully they get that fixed soon. |

Last night at Sonar was pretty intense, I got so drunk, that last Tequila shot I had just finished me off. The music was great, good vibe + good times. I haven't been to Sonar for a while and someone told me the hot waitress didn't work there anymore and I was so dissapointed, until I saw her. She's so hot, there were tons of hotties there last night. Hpnotiq tastes okay, but its nothing special, nothing beats red bull and vodka. The sound was real bad last night, I didn't hear any bass, Hatiras was still really good.

Great tunes both downstairs and upstairs. Last night was one of the few events I've been to where leaving one room to check out the other was torture to me.... every time. The music in both rooms was just that good. Good times!
I got a free CD from the Breaks DJ upstair! "Willar .X. - T Dot 2 the V spot". It's a good cd! Oh yeah, and Hypnotiq isn't very good... too sugary, with an aftertaste that reminds me of motor oil (literally, whats what came to mind after my first taste). Probably the most blatantly commercial club nite I've been to so far. Everybody who went knows what I'm talking about (glow sticks with hypnotiq written on them!). Even back when benson and hedges was doing gold club series nights, it wasn't that blatantly commersh. |

I drank some Hipnotiq and red bull it was $5.25, but it didn't get me drunk, so I ended up buying red bull and vodka and some Tequila shots.
It was such a commercialized club night, oh well, it was still fun. It still beats Ther Mirage, hahaha. |

I can't believe you! and the bastards that stole my doll that I almost won... Wanna say thanks to lawrence for dragging me out. I don't think i've ever been that drunk in my life. Thanks to everyone for a fun time. Anywhoz. oFf to work! and yeah... Denny's was by far the most entertaining aspect of the night.. I think I almost fell over laughing multiple times. |

The free hypnotiq seemed endless. Probably because it tastes like shit and no one wanted to have any.
And the crowd was strange, half the people knew what they were doing and started dancing it up. The others seemed so out of place that they packed up the breaks room because it was the only thing resembling hiphop. |

yeah it did sound like piss in there, its a shame to see turbosound goto waste, such nice speekers!!! fun night, weird crowd, cool to see they had additional suport tho, ie. a new visuals guy (named yuriy) <--- your AWSOME!
didnt get to stay till hatiras's set tho :( but still had some fun, thanks to cinto-amanda and remmeddie-reachel for comming to suport too :) you guys are awsome! thanks vivid for having me out again, it was fun :) |

sounds like it was awesome though. thanks to everyone that bought me drinks and contributed to this wonderful headache that I have now. I love you all.. we'll do it again tonight for adrienne's night. thanks to adrienne and andrew for being as drunk as I was and making me feel okay about it! thanks to dave for paying for the lap dance .. she was AMAZING nekkid! |

I had an alright time. I really enjoyed Hatiras back in August but this time the sound was just gross. The treble was ear piercing. Overall just seriously distorted, mostly I think because the volume was too high. Two words for the DJ's: Volume Control. That was the worst sound I've ever heard at Sonar. Did they change anything in the last week?

wow! definately a fun night.. huge thanks for veni for draggin my ass out to sonar! tons of fun.. definately a perfect way to end a week of deadlines at school and my fantabulous freedom month. i just want to announce to the world that i love lauren... that girl is the best drunken fun buddy! can't believei started teh night with shitloads of stuff in my pocket and by the end of the night everything somehow fell out. lost a lot of money, but ill just pretend i spent it all. *again thanks everyone*. owe you all big time when i get my first pay cheque. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm DENNY'S WAS THE BEST. its always fun to sit in soaked clothes with "my very first teddy bear" lol. next sonar night....donald glaude?! ps. whats with all the hot boys with accents last night?!?! |
