yeah, Team Trainwreck = myself (aka DJ Abasi of the Cheeky fame... a 2 room house/prog/breaks/techno night we did from 2000 to 2003 which started a cult following and it was good times while it lasted) + DJs Glyn and Dr. Jones

Normally, as DJs, we play straight up electronica (I have been DJing for about 10 years, and Chris about the same, and Glyn around 7-8 years)... usually house, prog, eletro, techno, etc...

But when we come together as Team Trainwreck, we do one of two things:

a) play electro/breaks: you can catch us drop these sets all over town, usually at the Lotus Long Weekend parties...

or

b) play mash-up! This means no single genre escapes us! We play it ALL from electro, to 80s, 90s, hip hop, indie rock, disco punk, breaks, funk, and then some! Think Z-Trip, 2 Many DJs, that sort of thing... ;-)

We are usually found playing (b) at our night called Big Trouble on Wednesdays @ The Lotus ( http://www.intimateproductions.com/bigtrouble )

Winston has selected option (b) for this Saturday's shenanigans, so expect a genre bending set from this Team! ie expect the unexpted! ;-)

lol No kidding... there I was at the Flying Beaver @ YVR wondering how things were going. Not that I really had to guess.
