It's wonderful to see how much everyone appreciates how much effort gets put into a show so that everyone can enjoy them!

Peace CINTO :135: Malicious Recordings Twisted 9:23 am PS... yes i was one of the promoters throwing that show... oh and by the way we booked almost all the different styles of music for everyone to enjoy.. but if that's not good enough.... then unfortunatly you don't belong there! i wish more people would have a better outlook on parties rather than always putting them down! this was the only lagit show this month in Vancouver... and it's too bad that many people missed out... but it was sooooooo much FUN!!! got there round 4.........not too many people but liked the tunes in the small room.......tons of funky garage and disco house......havent danced that much in a while........dizzee d and whoever that other guy was should not have done a 2x4.......i stood there for about 25 min and every mix was a trainwreck......props eric tho for throwin it sorry i didnt get to hear u spin!

I remeber, i saw dizee dee, spin the same set twice, in a row one month...
On a side note, clinto said something about almost every genre was played I really hate it when promoters do that. I don't mean every genre actually played, I mean when they say, but don't. Trance, breaks, house, and jungle, are not almost every genre. not even near. grrr... pet peeve. |

hmm... first of all
1) Postponed party 2) The flyer still said Stright Up 2001-even tho it's 2002. 3) Flyer was all weird and upside down But none the less- I TRIED making it out to this event. Sadly when I got there - there was NO Guestlist- So sadly the asian lil girls wouldn't let me in - and no one was there (Jere, Steve, Frank etc.) so I did my dutie and left flyers and then left off to bubble Tea!! mmmm... hot yummy boy at bbt.... I ENJOJYED MY NIGHT! TWO THUMBS UP! |

SOnik: sorry we can't please everyone but we tried hard ok! BTW, with dizzee-D people try their hardest but when you play top 40 all the time it's hard to keep up with the perfect mixin styles... that's only what i figure! Babynat: it was postponed for unfortunate reasons, it was called 2001 because the first one was postponed so why change the name? and.... the flyers where like that due to an error at the printing press.. not our fault! Straight Up was the best Riverside party yet...
there was hardly anyone there, but the music was awesome :)
i had a great time, met lotsa new people. i enjoyed myself thoroughly actually...come to think of it...that was the best party for music that i've been to! ( i looove breaks and speed garage :288: ) |

I couldn't make it to the party after all, although we did try I heard there wasn't much of a turnout but not even the biggest most experienced Promoters can fill Riverside nowdays What I give props about is that they kept every promise All the dj's made it, they kept the second room open and they even got an expensive laser Doing all that and knowing that they are gonna lose money is good business ethic and unfortunatly can't be expeced from all promoters Good job guys AGROout |
