I'm curious, how much money was raised? When can we expect the new and improved website?

OK. First we want to thank everyone who came out. Second we would like to thank the Automatic crew for hosting our first NWNDB Fundraiser: Jay-Dabbler, Jay-Auto, Pacific (the artist formally known as Matty) this event would not have happened without you. We want to thank the people who donated the prizes that were drawn for this event: The Boomtown Crew, Elements Crew, Psidream, Noradawn, Krusha, Jimungle, Blacksmith, BR and The French Mafia. We would like to thank 4eyes (formally known as Hater).
We have a huge graditude to Ange a.k.a. Smurf who won the 50/50 and with the kindness of her heart stupendously donated her winnings back to nwdnb.

All of your donations will contribute to the growth of our community and development of nwdnb.

Hey dude, glad you had a good time.. I know I did!

So after everything was said and done we raised $450 which leaves us a little under half way to the purchase of our own server.

Changes are happening to the site as we speak. Due to the recent crash we had to temporarily move servers to avoid any future problems with the host. For now we (NW) still have concentrate in getting another $500-$600 for purchase or our very own dedicated server; money that will more than likely come from our pockets. Thanks again to everyone who came out to support.. and official press release will be out soon...

So hang tight.. big changes are ahead for NW.

*i'm so sorry i didn't make it out carlos and trev, i was shit outta pocket from buying all the fruit/shrimp/gas to run errands/flyers for elements, combined with the fact that i'm about to be paycheque-less for a month. i couldn't even afford to get out the door.

I betcha if you set up a paypal donation account, linked here, you'd raise the rest of that cash in no time flat.
I mean, think of all the people who wanted to go, for the music and to contribute, but couldn't (me included). We all get so much quality music from ya, and what about after the server is bought? What about any other necessary improvements, site upkeep an stuff. The paypal onation account would be nice.....that way, I coul feel like I'm giving something to the dnb scene, not just taking away like some kind of parasite.

Thanks for the suggestion, However we set up a paypal account a few days ago.. We're allll over it. :D

There are other projects in the works to raise money for the site.

Tuesday was pretty damn fun. The 50/50 was super funny, I just got in after burnin', and I had a really good laugh... I felt like I was in high school or some shit haha :)

Everyone was layin' it down nicely, heard a lot of wicked tunes (especially the first song matty played, bloody hell it was bonkers!!) I'm glad y'all raised a decent amount of money, it was a good night!
