dJ MeDiC -- Overview

Let me start off by saying I hate writing about myself...ha ha No one likes a pompous *sshole.. So if it sounds that way, I appologize in advance.

I just turned 28 and currently live in Meadow Lake Saskatchewan. My name is Aaron. I have been here for the last year completing my schooling. I moved here from Calgary, and now in July - Im moving to Vancouver.

I am a recording engineer and pro club DJ for 5 years. I play hard trance and of course hardstyle and Nu Nrg. I have many demos available, my favorite of which is called Engage your Enemy. I have sent many demos out around the world and have had many cool experiences.

I like to be thought of as the dJ who helps the others, because I know how hard it is to break into a career of music. I remember when i first started in Calgary, the scene was very much "Do it yourself, and theres no help available..." Yeah right. How is one supposed to do that...but you learn.

I have had a radio show broadcasting live on Netmix Radio.com (NY USA) and on Spiderpower.net (Ireland) Ive also done work with Rise Fm in Denmark. I still do my shows at spiderpower and have been for 2 years.

If any dJ who wants their music heard on the air just let me know and I'll get a disc from you. This is how I like to operate. ha ha Nice and simple!

I found in my experiences its better to have someone out there willing to be a stepping stone in a persons career than hinder them. As a friend of mine would say... dJ's Unite! I have accomplished lots in my short career and was the first Canadian dJ to be sponsored by the renown company "The National Club Industry Association of America" (NCIAA)

This is a company that promotes dJ's clubs and producers together. I was very lucky, and after some work with the company they baught me a new mixer and the sure whitelabel needles I was looking for.

Did you know that if you are on internet radio and have enough exposure, that record companies will send your their white label releases for your to play on the air?

Vicious Circle Records and Balloon records are 2 of the companies that send me promotional gear and records. Andy Farley, BK, Dave the Drummer, Paul Glazby and several other top producers are with these labels.

Over all what I say is that if you work hard at what you do, you will be rewarded. Do it for the love of Music not the fame or money...because if you are dedicated it will follow.

I have a registered company called DJ Medic Studio Productions. Its a small company but my first attempt at helping DJ's out with there recording needs. Demos are fun to make I could do it in my sleep. ha ha! I have been operating this studio for 2 years.

Hope this was a good over view of dJ MeDiC. You can see pics of my studio or the shows I played in the link below.

Cheers all, Im happy to be a member of this forum. You all seem like very decient people, and if theres anything I can do to help you out, let me know

Keep Dancin'
