Unfortunately I showed up late, on account I had a meeting that ran very late... didn't get out of the office till 11:30 :-( grrrrrr. but when I got their the vibe was wicked and PVD was rocking.... so dissapointed it ended at 2 though, that made me wanna cry. LOL. I showed up late so I might have missed it, but did he play time of our lives? a track list would be awesome if anyone remembers... for the few FNK'rs I met, nice to meet you, but for the most part I was way too lost in trance. I was wearing a shirt that said funkmaster with a turntable on it and had the green and white billabong jacket on it, so if you're one of the people I either was brief with or ignored when you tried to talk to me, sorry, I was trying to get my money's worth. |

Only 2 hour set, thats dumb, since on the promotional thread it says a 3HR SET, oh well, glad it was awesome, and you guys had a blast.
Were these tracks spun? Paul Van Dyk - Crush (Featuring Second Sun) Paul Van Dyk - Knowledge (Featuring Atomek Dogg & Trooper Da Don) Paul Van Dyk - Reflections Would have paid good money to hear those 3 songs played live at plush. |

Good night for sure! I was very impressed with PVD. I have never heard the sound system in Plush sound so good too I might add. I was having troubles with my camera some of the night but I'll post whatever pics turned out.
PS: Carrie I ment to tell you that you looked nice last night. And Kraig I'm going to have to pass on that sandwich. lol omg the conversations we have. :p |

not bad .. not bad....considering i did not have one drink last night or do any drugs.. i got a chance to really pay attention and listen to his set... and not just be like omg this is so sick just because i was drunk or whatever.....
his track selection was kinda up and down.. it would be like.. one reaally great song.. then a so so song.. then a great song.. then a so so song... it got better near the end... but it took along time for him to really build the set.... his mixing is obviously bang on.... i guess mabie cause hes older and has been around for a while he doesnt interact with the crowd much? (im comparing him to lets say armin.. where hes bouncing around the stage and "shooting" arrows into the crowd) i dont know man... i still think tiesto is the best dj ive seen live.. but i think mabie that has to do with the fact he plays the commodore, which in turn always brings out better crowds... plush= not so good crowds. dont get me wrong.. i still love pvd.. and have heard some pretty sick sets from him...but last night really didnt live up to the hype...so next time someone pleaaaaase bring back pvd to commodore!!!! :D Still had alot of fun.. thanks andrew for getting our shit signed.. and thanks kraigers/azim/dennis for hookin it up.... <3 ps... for an angel at the end.. :y: people were going insane.. seriously.. i was at coat check when it came on and i saw people go running and screaming jumping up onto the stage.. lol.. that was awesome! |

and pvd is reeeaaally shy, that's the biggest reason he doesen't bounce around on stage. no, not the best set I've heard of PVD's by any means, but still very enjoyable! I too, was as sober as a priest. |

Really good beginning to his set , my only criticism was it was way too short. I mean he started at 12 and only did a two hour set which kinda sucked. Shutting down at 2 wasn't kosher.
As for his dj skills, they were top notch! Very good music! |
