Umm hitting charts and staying consistant for over 5 years... they had a sound that no one really tried to commercialize back in the old days of happy hardcore euro dance shit. As well as an original act that soon started a trend of "Techno Pop", along side with Scooters sky rocketing fame in Europe. yea.. the setup was the best i have ever seen there.. i will repeat.. "The best i ever seen THERE" (notice the emphasis on the word THERE)... i could sit here and bitch about the venue but this is not the thread to be doing it in.. Most parties these days are boring ... that is my opinion.. im just getting partied out.. i believe retirement is near. A night downtown is better

Whoa I didnt even see this bickering. I must also say sinful was great. The setup was tight but the venue isnt. We are all still comparing everything to the good ol' days at plaza. For me it takes more than a bunch of lasers to come out, there has to be a dj of interest as well.
What chewy forgot to mention is downtown "fucked up" is better than a rave (or party)haha.

Should be a nice end to my summer I would think. Theme is nice too, though I've always been one for dressing for whatever. Good times raving and Sinful was a good show, so hopefully this one will not disappoint.

Yeah the maritime labour center is a decent small venue, but I would have to agree, it is very very untolerable when it comes to ventalation. I mean the goddamn smoke pit is tarped, I mean come on let us breathe.

I know that the tarp must be up for 'security issues' and its not up to the promoters or else they would let us dirty ravers have a lil oxygen.

Then you move to the main room, and boy it aint any better. I think Evolve should invest in some industrial fans or come up with some sort of plan for decent ventalation.

Also, I would love to see Brooklyn Bounce, so you will probably find me at this party.

Although an all breaks party would not seem financally stable/secure for a massive due to the crowd being small (hence massives being multi-room)... there are always underground parties which play Breaks, House, and DnB that go off without a problem; such promoters as Swiftbeats, Silverwaters, Exert (with Summer Breaks approaching fast) etc. etc. seem to have a strong grasp on whats needed in terms of those genres and their parties are ones that should be on the look out, the underground vibe cannot be beat. We will be however incorporating a little breaks/house for our future shows so stay tuned ;).

^Now I must disagree with that....though I have been to some raves that have had very little trance in them that were pretty good........raves with a fair bit of trance have been better......at least for me anyways
