Best Stage at APEX 2005

Well since I wasn't at Apex I was just curious to as who you guys thought had the best stage by far? Also why was it the best stage this year at Apex?

Boodang deffinatly had an impressive setup and was rockin it all night. Evolve had a nice setup never ventured close to the stage though without some sorta noise protector. Swiftbeats stage was interesting to say the very least and of course the FnK Swingkids stage was awsome and bangin all night aswell. I would have to say it is a close runnin between Boodang and FnK/Swingkids and I liked the DJs on FnK/Swingkids more my type of music. Also of course special mention for the Ree-fresh stage with the bangin house all day long.

boodang and evolve i would say are tied for 1st in my books.. both stages were amazing

boodangs was tight however, the floodlights kept me away....

the swiftbeats stage was crackin all night long! which was dope.

it was either Triple A or Bass junkiez that had a small but decent setup with lasers? I thought it was well done for the size. Small, but lots of effort and goodies.

Boodang and Evole are close.

Evole had HUGE fucking sound. It was retarded, but awesome to listen too.
Boodangs lighting owned Evoles, but their sound wasn't as great. They had DJ Dean who played 3 hours of straight anthems. It was amazing.

Overall I really can't choose between the two.

Then there was Swiftbeats and FNK/Swingkids. Both of those had way better more creative set ups then the rest.

Evolve and Boodang are also tied for first in my books, although admittedly I was only at the Boodang stage for DJ Dean's set. Evolve was bumpin' all night and well into the day, Major Josh threw down a crazy set as always. And yes, Dean was insane. Zombie Nation!!

boodang had a sick stage and sound just pounded threw that middle section but those flood lights definitely kept me away.... missy stage was sweet because not one guy dj there !!!! and who doesn't like looking and a shit load of lovely ladies.... swiftbeats was sick too, along with evolve and their set up + major josh and his poisen mask lol, that was dope. but i stayed most the night near lcu.

Erg... I dont think there was a "best stage" Like I keep saying how I think every single stage had something good/unique about them!

Swiftbeats: You guys had the crazyest scafolding ive ever scene!!! What I love it how you probly had the biggest set up, but were in the smallest spot lol... big high fives to swift beats!

Boodang: Sound, Lighting, and DJ Dean made you guys probly one of the biggest best done! Glad you guys were way down at the end :p

Missy Productions: Glad Chrissy could pull off an all female DJ stage for the first time!!! Nice size scaff and loved the shadow dancers!

Ree Fresh: Giant disco ball! Awsome original theme and decorations. Good sound and loved every single one of the DJ's there who truley rocked it with awsome house tracks.

Twisted: Wow that was one big scaff design!

Shift.T/K Star: You guys deff did a great job with the cute area you had. I thought you had a great sound system and loved the lazer!

LeftCoast: Always proud to mention the one the only Hip Hop stage! Hope our sound didnt blow you guys out, but I always rememebr your stage totaly rockin it out. Rad DJ line up too!

FloorPlay/Sound Funktion: The area you guys have in the back was totaly cool... had a really nice vibe to it. Good sound system and nice set up for sure!

Swing Kids/FnK: Of corse you guys were one of the bigest... but what really emprest me was the wiked DJ line up and the awsome tunes I always heard. There was always a massive crowed totaly rockin it the entire time!

Tripple A: I thought you guys had a pretty cool design with the long white cloth wraped long accross the stage like that. The sound and black lights were also pretty awsome!

Bass Junkies: Deff had a rad design and awsome sound! And mega props to the hard house... BRING IT BACK!!!

Evolve: Only way bigger and better than last eyar. Again one of the top sound and gian scaff designs. What I really like about your stage was the long green lights that went from one end of the stage to the outer part.

Minemonic: I walked by and gave you guys a reall "holly crap look at that dance floor!!!" Deff did an awsome job and so nice to have a company all the way from Seattle!

Silverwaters/Blackcrack: I thought you guys had a rad sound system and way to represent the Drum and Bass!!! Nice decorations too!

Choice: Loved the parots and Skeleton. I thought turning the sail into a video screan was deffinently a cool idea.

Do'h Boy/Union: Wow really neat desighn wtih the 6 towers circling your stage. Scott I think you deff "beat" twisted lol. Too bad you guys were in such a far location.

Renagade Stages: I still think you both had some pretty good stages and set up. Maybe not as big, but hope you both had a rad time! Oh and props to the HHC!


See what happens when you dont get super high or drunk. So glad I was able to check out every single stage this year :y:

^^hahaha burn... but yea fucken boodang and evolve wow dj dean who was so amazing and i must say was a big highlight of my raver career definetly one of the best sets i have ever fucken heard!!! evolve was also banging all night almost to much i cudnt even get near the stage without being trampled fnk stage was great to sum great house tunes..

map map map...ok....welll. i would have to say mnemonic gets my vote for best.....since i spent most of my time there. love the floor!!! silverwaters/blackcrack not bad as well. really enjoyed scotty oh at the do'h boy/union stage...and the set up there was awesome.....really good place to have a tent across from. oh yes...and the lazers at the choice stage...wonderful......they worked very well with the stars when i was chillin in the chair watchin the sky!!!! there were soo many stages i didn't really get to check out though.....kinda disappointed...but that is what you get hidin out in the jungle all night...lol! next year i will be more attentive and travel around a lil more ;)
