I REALLY enjoyed Soda and Kia's set, it was fuckin awesome!!!! Those first few breaks Andrew played were killer!!! That was definatley one of my favourite sets of the night.

Dig Dug played well, he started out pretty funky, then I left for a bit and I'm not sure where I went lol. He was playing down some speed garage when I came back, and his set got better and better!! The breaks he played towards the end were intense!!

Influenza flatened the breaks stage... What a fuckin set!!!! The highlight of the night for me no doubt, an awesome well rounded set of kill breaks, I loved it!!! It sucked that it took so long for the sound to get decent on that stage, but I'm glad it did :) It was painfully loud previous to late in their set..

I didn't catch any of coolio really, but I grabbed some water while gangsta's paradise was on :) I heard some cool stuff at the progressive stage, crazy fills and edits in one song. Czech and vinyl ritchie played some fun stuff, I enjoyed their set.

Vegas (or Las Vegas lol) was pretty dope... he played some stuff I didn't expect him to play kinda, but he did play some serious killers!! I wasn't overly blown away, but I think it was a good set... I found Verbal Assassin to be annoying and ruined the experience in my opinion. There were some breakdowns and transitions in songs I didn't know and I wanted to hear that shit, but it was drowned out by him and his antics. He went overboard, some songs did suit an mc, but a lot of it should've been left alone imo.

I really wanted to check out Skip Ez and Akeel's set, I'm upset I missed it. Thinking in retrospect I should've checked it out, but then I might not have left lol.

Matty played a good set, there were some awesome songs in the mix. I found the sound started to go to shit later during his set though :( I don't know what happened, but some songs were sounding really bassy and not very clean.

Summer Break was a great party, I had alotta fun and tons of laughs and good times!!

On behalf of Silverwaters and Exert productions we would like to thank all of you for coming out and showing your support. We couldn’t have done this without you guys. We would also like to thank the promoters for showing their support with the production of the show, the sponsors for helping us out, the ticket sellers for doing a great job and of course all of the artists that came out and made this show one of the best displays of musical talent that Vancouver has seen in a long time! It was a wicked party and we are looking forward to next year already. We have learned a few things from this year and we intend to improve the show for next year. THANK YOU VANCOUVER!
