Metropolis in edmonton

where do I start... the line up was good for alberta standards... still sucked waiting an hour, but not as bad as other alberta parties....

the venue was SICK. I LOVED the venue... soo much better than PNE.... had such a warehouse euro feel to it... soooo huge went on forever... soo many people... second room had a tight little vibe, small, but ok... spent 99% of my time main room though,

now for the DJ's...

Marco V was SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK... played sooo many tight tracks. had me goin for most of his set.... tarted leaning over(was front and center) for maybe 5 minutes... then all of a sudden he breaks into more than a life away... finishes the chorus and drops automanual! mE AND MY SISTER STARTED A 'Godd' chorus and he played it right at the end... wicked set all in all.

Blank and Jones were far superior to when I saw them last year. I am still in awe... they are near Yoji for sytage presence and their track selection is sooo to my liking... nearly creamed my pants when they played PVD-The other side... they kept teasing me playing sections of born slippy but never dropped it... grrrr... super nice guys too. so high energy. cant wait to see them yet again.

Anne savage was playing it really hard and repetitive... only stayed for half her set. by that time I was waaaay too tired and I ahd a 2.5hr drive ahead of me... can't really give a good review on her...

all in all a wicked rave.... very well done.

I tell you, this city used to have the best parties... none of the indoor vancouver events compared. They would always rent out an airplane hanger and have the craziest parties.... Ohh good times, good times.

The bus barns! Some classics at the polish hall too.

B&J do have the best stage presence of any DJs. In my eyes they slightly eclipse Yoji only because hardstyle isn't exactly my thing.

They have more energy on stage than yoji... but yoji does crazier shit... and I'm a little crazy so thats too my liking. lol.

So right after Armin @ plush on friday basically went right to the airport to fly to edmonton to check out the party there which included Marco.v, anne Savage, Blank and jones. what a fucking crazy party those boodang guys know how to through a good party. Blank and Jones where so good played hard the whole time same with Anne savage. Unreal !!!! check my pics in the gallery. the vibe there is somuch better than here and everyone stayed right untill the very end also they went half hour over time which made everything so much better. I dont think i noticed one person in the whole party that was not mangled !!!! ripper !!!! Plus every dj did a meet a greet after there sets..

omg, I am soooo jealous. Anne Savage is my fave female DJ, has been ever since I saw her in 98.
