Kind of surprised not as many people checked this out but I was only there for the DJ portion of the panel...

Still an awesome event - and it was great hearing the insight of guys from different ends of the spectrum - Roc Raida being the bonaifde superstar, Mike Relm being the up and coming "next-big-thing" and Shortee Blitz being the workhorse club gigger...

Best part was hearing their stories about their worst gigs ever and hearing their responses when I asked them how they feel about the electronic/rave side of DJing.

Big ups to Spexx for putting this together - would have been nice to see some more people there, especially DJs, but still an awesome way to spend an afternoon.

Shit i thought it was last Saturday, then when i saw this post i thought it had happened today while i was working hah. You should have told me you were going to that after, i was bored that afternoon. Buy any good furniture?

basically they didn't think that there was much influence or crossover from the 2 worlds and were pretty low-key about it.

Until Shortee mentioned how much someone like tiesto or oaky would get paid for a gig. Then they started going off a bit about how much they got paid for doing so little behind the decks... which was pretty damn funny - especially Roc Raida. I wish I had recorded it..
