supsup, it was my first time mlc show, got almost the whole thing on tape, met a whole lot of new friends =) i had fun man.. i expected less to be honest.
a major shoutout to all the people i met, fun hangin out (Alex, cam, george, the list goes on etc ) miss lisa was really happy just to have a chance to play music and excited she said, no one can blame her though, she just does what she likes eh? i kind of though the crowd kinda enjoyed old schoool by the looks of their reactions~ everyone seemed to have a pretty good time kev - |

props to evolve for drawing a big crowd and having a nice set up
there was a fight during alje's set, it looked like 2 girls, but i couldnt really see the sound might have been a bit too loud but it was much better than at doom's caught a bit of ricky's set before heading out and some of danny's when i got there, both were great. and then hardhouse came on and i couldnt handle much of it lol guyver sounded good, miss lisa, i dont know.... i suppose she wanted to have some cool classics but maybe she shouldnt have had broken out ATB and Safri Duo, altho yes, Exploration of Space was pretty dope. the levels on the broadcast were fcked from the start and when miss lisa got on, she cranked them up even more, it was bad hehe the $100 at the door was pretty shocking but i suppose as long as people are willing to pay, its all good overall, if you dont consider the young girls wearing what they were, good party :D |

Awesome party, the set up was insane, kept tripping out to the lasers most of the night. Was so tired after work, but I still came, the e I got gave me no energy, it was like dancing sober which was alright too. Also gonna attend less all ages events and stick with club nights where the crowd is at least 19+. What's up the youngins' like seriously, I was talking with my buddies and we agreed that they shouldn't be there. One chick was so high, I was like how old are you and she said 14 I was just like great, maybe you shouldn't be here and she was like "uhuh, I'm so high". There should be a age limit to go to raves like 16+. Its not fun trying to pick up 14 year old girls. also saw my sister's friend there all high and I was so glad that my sister doesn't rave.
Guyver's set was amazing, didn't dance enough. Then Miss Lisa came on and droped Cosmic Gate and ATB, so I forced myself to giver, then she dropped Mylo - Drop The Pressure and after that I didn't want stop dancing. Miss Lisa is such a hottie. It was nice seeing a bunch of old friend's and meeting new ones. Meet some people from Holland and I got free glow sticks it was great :P Also the massage was so worth the $5, best massage I ever got, the chick did an amazing job, felt so much better afterwards. It was a crazy party, could of been more packed but oh well it was awesome. So worth the 50 bones. Can't wait for ICE with Marco V. Great job Evolve!!!! I got to say Evolve has really made something out of MLC, putting aside the sketchy people, the condition of the air in there and other insignificant things.
I was very happy to see the setup the second room had, seemed much bigger than before and the sound was very clear. Good job on the setups! ps-marty that picture was priceless, haha |

well....aside from all the factors so clearly listed above i still had fun, got to see a lot of the usual suspects which is always a blast.... finally seeing guyver after months of a calgary buddy rubbing in how magical his set was and don't worry ppcock, i caught most of your set! i had fun, thats for sure and holy hell was MLC packed.... should have called freeze.. heat instead to make up for the excess temperature

miss lisa was just plain old shit. haha and when she was playing, it seemed like the crowd consisted of 70% horny bastards taking pictures of her. ive said it once and ill say it again. i dont care how hot they are. if they cant play, i dont wanna see them. but my favorite set all night was impact vs dub c. they had a huge yoji finale that blew my socks off. Miss Lisa's was alright she definately dropped some worthy tracks, but she's hot so it was all good haha. i think 2nd room woulda been sick if there were some breaks. cuz at certain times of the night i just wanted to escape the trance to switch it up a bit, o well

well lets see..
set up was good lights were good best set of the night was by "optimum sound" You rocked the psy like no other" Rob and carlos layed down some pretty sweet beats to.. good work guys.. I really felt old at that party ... lol .. that can be good and bad Some kid brought his parents there .. Both of his parents were having fun.. I had an alright time I thought guyvers set was boring as hell.. he played some good tracks but for 2 hours his sound was exactly the same.. I mean at least change it up a little bit. I wasnt very impressed by his set. I thought some of the locals had better sets. all in all i had a fun night |

i had a pretty good time. i spent alot of the night in the second room so high on e i just sat against the wall and felt the vibrations it was amazing and of course danced with my glowsticks and soother haha. guyver was fantastic! i wasn't feeling miss lisa's set as much, but what can you expect from a plastic playboy. loved the lasers too! hats off to evolve.
PS- i loved the christmas trees, especially the mini one on the counter by the coat check/water...it was so glowy i went up to it and hugged it haha. |

Props to evolve for the event, i had a blast! the snow was the ultimate touch, i swear lol. age group was kinda young... too many people to shout out, as i still need sleep. sigh, work party food sucks.... got me sick :( I liked Guyvers set the most and Miss Lisa's was decent in my oppinion. all in all was a great night!
