Well left early since I have now been up more then 24 hours.....
Anyways nice party. Haven't heard speed garage this good in a long long time.... Highlight of the evening: While standing in the hall way this guy brings rob back a black felt marker... The guy is topless and I noticed it says something "Miss Marz"... He go's back on the dance floor.... 3 minutes later maggie comes into the hallway and go's up to rob and says "Ok the most fucked up thing just happened to me, some guy asked me to sign his chest and I did" or something around those lines....one of those WTF moments.... and as I said "Maybe he is going to get it tattoo'd"...... Anyways I need to go to bed now will post more of a review later |

That was my buddy, he was pretty fucked up! That's funny shit man, i didnt really know exaclty that went down, he just showed up with 'miss marz" scrawled accross his chest. I had a great night, Miss Marz, you kick ass btw. Digdug span a wicked set as well. Now that I think about it, I dont think I heard any music i didnt like. I was there since the beginning when it was pretty empty, it did fill up nicely however around 130. Sound 7 Venue 7 Crowd 8 Dj's 9 Overall I give it a 7.5, but bump it up to an 8 just because I had such a good time. |

Ok kelly got way to drunk. I had an awesome time in the begining.. scotty-o and dig dug ripped it up.. best music I have heard in a while. It could have been a little more filled out, it was a good party, I dont know why more people didnt come. The korean is much better then 333 clarke thats for sure.

i havent been to the korean since 2001. Lights were good sound was awsome and it was a nice tight crowd, most people seemed to know everyone. defenitly good speed garage, i ended up bouncing after the trance started. I t was so hot in there and after dancing around for an hour or two i went into the hallway and couldn't being myself to go back in there. except to get my sweater outta coat check. a good little party, thought it had a wicked vibe.

Scary but true: I was actually really diggin' the speed garage last night. Pretty much started after I heard a DJ Jean speed garage song, and then I just kept givin' 'er from there. It was fairly hot in the room there, but certainly not as bad as some of the other undergrounds I've been to. The crowd was a pretty decent size there for a while, but once the trance came on, it seemed most people left. I thought the first bit of trance was waaaaaay to slow, but it got better as the night went on. All in all, it was certainly worth the $15 I paid to go. BTW, Titus 1 was pretty damn good too.

Fist of all I would like to start it off by saying .... Good Old School vibe party : VINYLTAP. It seemed like everybody was good friends there from long long time ago. I ran into couple people that have known me for years ( more or less 6 years ). Miss Marz whicked set, the dirty electro that you bring out just seems to get noticed by the party goers more and more. Titus 1 dude its nice to finally meet you man and hope we meet again. Great set aswell man, keep it coming. Scotty Oh dude, you're the man. Even though i missed your set because i was working the door i still heard most of it. Speed Garage like Never before, you still got it dude. Dig Dug well i dont think there is nothing to say dude. You Rocked the shit out of the venue man. Great tunes and whicked sound from start to finish. Gemini, you had a interestig set man. I little bit of this and a little bit of that, you mixed in everything. Good Job. Ross and Kyle, the good old Duo from the past. Man when you guys get together its like its all over again from back in the day 01 - 02. You guys bring the best trance to the dance floor in vancity. iMPACT ( me ) I had whicked time spining in front of my crowd that supports hard dance and hard trance, Detn8tr thanx for taggin with me dude. Love spinning along side with you, had a pretty tight and bangin set since carlos sort of stopped spinning for some reason.
In general this party was a success for the korean center, with so much different styles of music all night long it definatly was fun times. I Would also like to give props to TRUE enterainment for the Quick set up and for the sound that they brought to this venue. These guys kick ass. Hard ass workers with shit load of experience. The Clean up crew in the morning that helped us out in gettting the venue cleaned in like one hour or some shit... And to the guy that collected the bottles and then cleaned the guys bath room LMFAO. This guy walked into that bath room and made it happen.... and i know some people saw how that bath room looked ... So thanx to all people that came out and made this event and hope to see you guys @ another Bass Junkiez or Euphonic Ent. EVENT see you all there !!!!! I had a fun night saw some people i didn't think i would see and the music was decent. We came to the party from a psychobilly punk rock show so i was a little tired. The speedgarage was good i just wish there was more house at shows like this there was some good electro house but i'm not big on the electro house.
This was one of the better show's i've gone to at Korean. Aiden you should have come sooner you did miss out why did you not come till late? Disco Stu(inside) nice talking to you and meeting you dude. Nice seeing everybody and nice to meet some new people. Thanks for the ride home Brian that was rad to get to sleep at a good time. |

what a night! i had a freaking blast! scotty oh & dig dug!!!!! had fun dacing w/ magz, rachel, alisha, mateya & shanz. Thank you to Rob for driving us to get food at like 3am! LOL. Gemini, you are sooooo freakin tanned buddy! <3 u hehehehe. we will come visit you in Calgary soon. It was soooooooooo HOT inside the venue!!!

We didn't have mix for our bacardi, so we put a bunch of ginger root in the juicer and used it as mix. It was pretty harsh stuff and we all got pretty sick There were a lot of lessons learned that night, including "Ginger is powerful stuff!" |

awsome party!
hope to see more like these! awsome crowd and the music was awsome! sad to see people start leaving so early. :( i was pretty tired anyways though. :P met alot of new people and saw some old people that i hadn't seen in a long time or even think would be there. two things i would change is a never ending supply of toliet paper in the girls bathroom and fans! i had to go pee soo bad but i had to wait an hour before there was toliet paper again. haha :) EDIT: maybe it wasnt an hour... but it seemed like it! Good times... adding this party to my list of memorable parties.
I really liked the vibe and atmosphere that you guys created - laid back and rocking out to each track. Wicked. I haven't been to the Korean Cultural Center venue before, (and in all honesty - I thought this party was going to be held at The Capital) - but nevertheless that venue was pretty good too. The lack of lasers in the visual setup sorta disappointed me. The audio setup was not bad but not perfect either. What I really liked about the sound though was that it was loud ENOUGH but not loud enough to make me deaf for two straight days like IMF and DOOM's did to me last year... The DJs were absolutely wicked! That night had some of the sickest electro, speed garage, breaks and hard trance I've heard in a loooong while. Most of the tracks were hella underground - and that's how I like it. Hearing those deep as fuck electro and speed garage basslines raised the hairs on my neck and back and made me shiver from the dopeness of those sound waves. Props to Miss Marz, Titus 1, Scotty Oh and Dig Dug for throwing down some phat beats. Then, when I thought it couldn't get any better - Gemini and Impact vs. Dub C vs. Detn8r presented the crowd with some very euphoric and uplifting melodies along with the ass kicking beats of hard trance. Good job dudes. This was a party that I for sure won't forget... partly due to the fact that I'm a real big fan of smaller parties such as this - with respectful and appreciative crowds - and mostly because this party delivered a diverse and thumping representation of electronica. Once again, thanks Euphonic and Bass Junkies for making this party happen. Oh and shouts to all of my friends and all the people that I met and also to all of the FNK'ers that I saw. You guys are wicked and I love raving with you all. :D Peace out. |
