..::Planet of the Drums::..
Well what can I say.... First I wasn't expecting to go to planet of the drums..... However thanks to ProjectOne and LastWerd I was offered to go there...... Where do we start..... ahh yes.... So myself and ProjectOne made the long trek from his place to vancouver.... we decided to go there early and check out remix records. So I am sifting through some vinyl and such and matt is listening to some when I tell him "eh here's a Dieselboy vinyl" So he instantly gets it for the intention to get it signed by Dieselboy himself..... Only in the end to have it signed by Dieselboy... Dara... and AK1200 . Anyways we got in the club.... Illesha's set was just ending..... And then mayhem broke loose. The tracks that were laid down were some of the best drum and bass that I have EVER heard. Especialy near the end when Dieselboy dropped down this track that had some heavy metal in it...... good god..... that was just nuts.... I guess I would say it was a fairly good turn out although i think that there could of been just a little bit more people in it.... Anyways I don't know how to describe as to what else I want to say..... But a special thank you go's to ProjectOne and Lastwerd.... Thank you so so much :)

What an awsome night! WOW
Right off the bat, mad props to Lastwerd! THANK YOU! That was one of the best nights Ive had in a long time. The beats were sooo nutty! From start to finish! Getting the record signed was a definate bonus though! I was hoping for just Dieselboy to sign it, but then he walked off and got Dara and AK to sign! haha that was awsome! And LilJenna got a good pic too! Still cant get over the music that night! Insane! Awsome night! |

Last night was wikid, dara and diesel boy played sum great tracks. Next time however i'll prolly wear sneakers instead of sandles cuz not only did they keep fallin off my feet while i was dancing, my feet were stepped on countless times. :( Anyways it was nice to see some familiar faces :)

what a great night. I wasnt expecting to go. I originally had other plans, but after work yesterday evening my car broke down so i had to cancil my other plans. then at around 10ish Matty calls me up and says he can get me a ticket...thanks buddy, it was a much needed break after such a crappy day.

Awesomeness...superb time! That was cool meeting some of you guys...prozac, your pm and stuff made my day! You da girl!! Thx for the lift home and props to the other fnkers & the Seattle peeps, hanging out with you was fun. Yes yes yes was a grand time....
Got nice and wild........Drum and Bass is my Anti-depressent, love of my life..... Last night reminded me of that... Tha MC was a pretty cool guy too...I have never seen one that goes down and chills in the crowd with everyone like that... Was a few people there I woulda liked to see that weren't there...(Including you Jay) Until next time.. |
