There was a liscence. But, as far as I know, they were told by the cops the day before that if they went ahead and had the beer garden that they would put roadblocks right out front and not let anyone in.

60 bux without headliners? Are you fuckin kidding me, the headliners were there- although a few could not make it. You had a choice to buy tickets before for almost half the price of door tickets, so paying that much is your own fault- don't blame the promoters.

reid speed acted in an unprofessional matter???? what she asked people to get off the stage while performing???? The shit was unorganized to the tits. I mean really... They had someone to tell the crowd that was at the front gate that if we want to get in faster use vip when the vip was empty and the regular lineup was moving..... I pretty much told them"Whats the point on telling us who are maybe 10-20 away from being in, shouldn't you take a walk in to the back and tell them this?"

I bring my tent.. they disassemble it and 4 of the security guys end up having a discussion because there conteplating whether they will confiscate the pegs for my tent because they can be used to stab somebody.... they let me go through with my pegs but that was the most utter bullshit since I can go to concession get a nice cup of boiling hot water and throw it into somebody's face.... I mean christ I was in the lineup while they had a pickup truck deliver the porta-potties.... It was truely poorly organized and unfortunantly it looks like alot of people are turned off as to the shit has gone down.

it could've been worse. the cops could have just as easily shut the whole party down and not given any good reason besides some predictable cop blablabla.
That would really have sucked, and the cops could've done it if they felt like being real assholes about it. It wouldnt have been the first time.

I haven't had any dealings with the police in vancouver so I don't know how they are. But up north they really dont give a fuck about the rights of some drugged out teenager who's probably broken every law shy of rape and murder.

alright... well I'll be honest with you I ain't gonna believe that story... kinda like the story that was made up indicating that uk apache couldn't board a flight because it was all booked. Now there's information that is floating out there with record companies in the uk associated with uk apache indicating that the reason he didn't come out here was because he didn't want anything to do with the promoter at all.... See silverwaters great company but everyone should have waited to let josh and kristine tell what happend...

since others have told the story of the beer garden it has been said the cops showed up that day and said they couldnt have it and now its is said they were told the day befor.
Josh and kristine should do the talking so there are no mix ups that in the end could make them look bad when maybe thats not the case.

But if they did know the day befor, it should have infact been told to everyone, or atleast posted when they were told.
But again Josh and Kristine havent been here till tell the whole story...


as for what happend to Reid Speed, if she played her set and did her job she should have been paid in full, but who knows what really happend, and who knows if eeveryone will find out.
Either way the party is over and done with, You cant change the past just hope for a better future.
