Jody Wisternoff & Summerbreak Official Press Release

The following is an official press release regarding Jody Wisternoff of Way Out West, not appearing at Summerbreak issued by Pound Recordings Authorized by Hope Management UK.

Jody Wisternoff of Way Out West, was inquired upon to appear at Summerbreak on Aug 19, 2006. In accordance with this, another secondary inquiry was made as well with a promoter in Calgary for Aug 17, 2006.


Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond the control of Hope Management/Fusion Bookings (UK) for Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West), Jody was not scheduled to appear at Summerbreak.


No deposits were paid, no contracts were signed and although there was discussion happening for Jody to appear right up until the week prior to the event, his appearance was not forthcoming.


There was a multitude of circumstances that did lead to the non-appearance of Jody Wisternoff, but none of that responsibility should fall on him, Hope Recordings or Fusion Bookings.

On a positive note plans are in the works for Jody to appear in Vancouver on a later date, for those that did purchase tickets for Summerbreak to see Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West), please retain your ticket stubb/wrist band.
