this weather is a joke..... -40 is where its at in eastern canada..... Being born and raised in montreal I remember waiting a bus stops and it was -42 and I can feel my eye lids wanting to freeze over when I blinked... Or walking backwards down a street because the cold wind would just be to much for your face...

Y'know, I remember being in Banff on New Years and it being -40, but I also remember it not seeming that bad. There's a serious water-chill factor that happens on the west coast that makes low temperatures more unbearable for people.

Anybody who does any hiking in BC mountains will tell you: It's not the cold that will kill you, it's the wet.

So not only do you want to bundle up, but you want waterproof and weatherproof materials. Avoid cotton wherever possible, it absorbs like a mafacka.

i love how school and work is within walking distance but the hot and cold makes me mad.. i bundle up for the walk, but halfway im sweating under the layers. and when i get inside... it feels like a sauna. ahhh

hey girls..anyone know where i can pick up a peacoat with a hood? i want it mid length..so just under the waist..and i want double buttons... i might be too picky. i just bought one of those hollister faux fur hoodies and its sooooo warm. love it.
