My advice is- if it's really that hard then wait a few months till you come across something you really like (and want on your body for many years to come), otherwise you may end up with a tattoo that you don't want in a few years. :)

The one I have, and the 3 more I am going to be getting, are all ones that I've wanted to get for at the very least a year.

Hmm.. well, to get an idea think of something you really like and/or that really means alot to you. Such as your zodiac sign, although it is overplayed I'm just using that as an example, and go from there. :)
My friend has the cutest turtle tattoo I've ever seen.. Also, well done and not overly obvious memorial tattoos can be pretty nice.

^^ Yes, you sure can. Depending on where you go and how intricate you want it they may charge a small fee, but they don't if you're getting the tattoo then or make a future appointment there.

Think of something that symbolizes you some how...whether it be your heritage, something you are passionate about...or something you love. Its a tough decision, but i think it should represent something about you.

For sure, im not going to get a tattoo just to jump on the bandwagon. Either way. I have an idea of what I want, making it a reality is hard cuz i cant find anything even remotely close to it

^^ Another idea, is find someone you know who can draw really well and get them to take a try at making your basic idea into something you want as a tattoo. :)

I can't wait to go get mine touched up, and hopefully I'll be able to get my second one done at the same time. :D Tattoos are so very addictive!

I got my zodiac sign, and becuase of the design no one knows what it is. I think if it's something in your life that'll never change it's good enough to go out on your body. I'll always be a leo, my next one's TEA(My sisters initials) on my ankle. After that I dont know yet, but when I eventually have childeren I'll get their name's or initials on me. they just have to mean something so in 5 year's your not kicking yourself if the ass for that stupid tattoo you got when you were a teenager.
