Speeding Tickets

i got another frickn speeding ticket on moday morning on my way to Mt Baker. you know that long stretch of road that connects mission to abbotsford, well you cant help but got a few extra km faster on a stretch like that... $196 dollars later.... a damn radar trap they had three cops all sitting in there cars, one cop would walk up to the radar gun on a tripod and nail a speeder, then as he was writeing the ticket the next cop would step up to the plate and continue to nail people for just going somewhere in a hurry. I need to dispute this ticket.... i loose my "N"erd endorsment in july, and i cant loose my liscense again only to do 2 more years of being a "N" my only hope is to get a court date later than that. i think when i get my day in court ill tell the judge i was in the process of passing slow moving car... Will that work???

Its a good attempt; I would deny it all the way, just say you were keeping up with traffic. The cops show 50% of the time, cross your fingers.
How about surrendering your license until you have the "n" erased? Somehow, I see you are trying to beat the system and Im here to tell you- Its 2007, the computers are linked, there is no beating it. You will have that 'n.' Tell them you are talking to a lawyer, call the officer, whatever...You have options.

i don't think it matters if you lose your N before the court date. The incident happened while you still had your N

^ it does matter, it's a points thing not an N thing.

Fight it! I've won 4/7 tickets! (one, I was out of town - and the cop had retired) (two, the cop showed) (three, was in the hospital and coulden't make it)

That sucks... my only Canadian Speeding Ticket, I was nailed in Mission.

He didn't give me the Excessive Speed upgrade on my Ticket because he liked my Car. Fucking Guy.

I got stuck with a $900 bill from ICBC on "point premiums" because of a $500 excessive speeding ticket and a $200 "Ineffective head lamp." ticket.

They USED to not show - but for years now their cases are booked all on the same day so that they DO show... and get paid for their time.

nothing extreme thats gotten me pulled over or a ticket.

and speeding is hardly an accident. you made the choice to step on the gas, its not like you momentarily lost all brain function and your car took control of your body.

man up and admit you were wrong, pay the damn ticket and get on with your life.

an accident? hahaha speeding is a choice, not an accident.

don't bitch, either choose to fight it and hope the courts treat you nice, or just pay up. But bitching just makes you look like...i don't have to repeat the word "bitch" again, but i'm too lazy to check a thesaurus.

You don't really have anything to "fight" because traffic offences are absolute offences.

The only thing you can hope for is teh cop not showing up.
