It's valentine's day? Hmm...I thought it was just my day where I have no classes or work. =O

Despite it being the 14th day of the 2nd month, I'm doing my regular Wednesday stuff: catching up on some reading, etc... & listening to some "mixed tapes" that a friend sent me. Mind you, he made it all hip-hop, so my ears are bleeding. o__O But I suppose since it's the 14th of february & all, I should show some love by grinning & bearing it. =P

Umm you missed the main point i was trying to make " why should you show someone you care only once a year" and a birthday to me is totally different, you don't have to buy someone a card let alone anything to show you care, I've always done home made gifts for years , fuck consumerism.

Next year one of those singles will be in a relationship and will be secretly hoping to receive the biggest teddybear and a box of over priced chocolates.

Obviously people show they care on more than one day a year... if anything this is just an excude to get out and have fun. Kinda like St. Patty's day or Hallowe'en.
