Please do share. This kinda shit really intrigues me.
I'll share one i had the other night... I was walking by a field.... something like a baseball diamond field you see at school etc.. except it was all grass, no gravel..... and it had a fence running around the entire side... i dont know why but i can remember every detail about the field.... and along side of the field were houses.... and i was in frontyard of one looking over a small wooden fence towards the field..... it seemed like it was around 8pm or later cause it was really dark.... and people were out on the field... and out of nowhere a grizzly bear runs out onto the fields and starts attacking this guy... his screams were blood curdling... it was really vivid... and then the guy somehow got away from the bears attack and started running towards me, with the bear chasing him.... the ran through the gate in the small wooden fence that was around the front lawn of the house i was hiding infront of, and the guy ran up the back stairs of the house to the patio.... and i obviously couldn't run away in time.... you know what it's like to try and run away from something in a dream.. and then the bear that was chasing the guy ran into the front lawn after him, when he saw me ducking behind the fence.... he walked up to me and we looked eachother in the eye, and then i woke up... i didn't wake up scared or anything, but it was a really vivid dream.... really weird...

Anyone into lucid dreaming? Where you train yourself to know you're dreaming, and run around controlling the scenery and stuff. If you know somebody else who's into it, you can both try to go lucid one night.. and try meeting up in your dream. You can actually have a conversation with them if you seek them out, and the other person can phone you up after and tell you what you were saying to prove it. Fucked up shit.

i've had these TONS of times. whenever i fall i usually wake up and hope it happens again because i actually enjoy the feeling. i especially love the dreams where someone is chasing after me trying to kill me and it feels real. nightmares don't suck. we'll i take that back. they only suck when you don't have many hours of sleep as it is and they constantly wake you up.

i find i have semi-lucid to lucid dreams when your in that transition stage between being asleep and being consious... like when you wake up, and then fall back to sleep again..
i find that often the material of the dream is uncontrollable.. for example the other night.. i went from observing people camping and boating on a lake in the fall.. to a sex related dream.. however during both situations.. i found myself somewhat able to control the direction each part went, and what i did in them... of course not complete control.. but reasonable responses to things and take my own actions in the situations i found myself.. Ive had more vivid dreams where ive actually mentally been aware that i was controlling the direction of my dream.. however i find that outside the realm of sexualy related fantasy it becomes harder when you have to try and place control on something like a nightmare, or a drive around a town.. I think maybe it has something to do with an active lebedo or something.. but i find when i do stumble into a fantasy styled dream (Often as simple as going for coffee with a girlfriend) that i can decide what to say ect somewhat conciusly and that i tend to stick to realistic outcomes of the situations (slightly different then a complete fantasy trip where you just loose control and dream wack things) The concept really intrests me on a mental level but i dont think id put too much extra time into it..

Sure they suck, yeah, but in the end it was all just a temporary mindfuck. And you created it in the first place...
In my opinion, learn to have fun with them. Wake up and laugh about it... admit you had a frightening experience but it's times like those that keep you alive and make your life a little more spontaneous. I myself get sleep paralysis on a regular basis for whatever reasons, but I learned to laugh at it... cause if I really took it to heart and always thought how much it sucks, then I would really hate my life. Read my post right HERE and try to put yourself in my position at the time and FEEL how terrified and afraid I was at the time that it happened. Now I look back at it and think it's funny, or if you can't find anything funny in it - then just call it entertaining. Nightmares are necessary. Last edited by FireWire; Mar 13, 07 at 11:05 PM.

i had a fucked nightmare lastnight.
it was finally shambhala07, and for some reason we got there. then had to leave because we forgot something, then by the time we got back we missed the wicked headliners.... it was awful.

A few months back I had a really vivid dream that a friend of mine had been diagnosed with diabetes.
The next morning I found out he had been hospitalized that night because of diabetes, which had recently surfaced. He's right back to his normal self now, albeit, with a few diet changes. But the rest of that day had a real surreal quality to it.
