Solid Ent And there Lazyness! (website-less)

You know, ive come to enjoy the solid ent raves..

But what the fuck??

Can you guys bother to update your dammed website? Publish info about your raves earlier? Give people a reasonable heads up from your OWN sources.

Sure its a pain, but it takes all of 30 minutes to update a website for a whole month...

Seriously, if they had forums and shit, where they could run polls on what people wanted to see, who people wanted to see, and what not.. i bet you there raves would be soooo much better. Not to mention that its probably faster to simply post a link to a website, then all of the info about a rave on many different forums.

Hell.. maybe theyd turn the damned music down and rent a few extra speakers so that they could get the sound to the back without blowing everyones ear drums out... Or get enough spare smoke machines so that a repeat of Lazerless NYE never happens..

Like seriously.. youve got pictures for doomsnight 05 on your dammed website.. give me a break.. dont even list your website if its that out of date...

Im sure im not the only one who thinks its annoying... too be honest i dont care that much.. its just bad buisness practices and i thot maybe this might catch someones attention.. Solid Ent could be so much bigger with a succesful website and forums..

Thats my 2 cents, and my suggestion. Fix your dammed website. its not that hard!

Your logic is sound on paper. But in practice that's something very different.

Rave promoters trying to cater to the lowest common denominator, IMHO, is exactly what kills a Good Thing.

A) About "bitching"

I have had the luxury of running several buisness enterprises that requiered frequent website updates.

I currently manage a shit hole of a website which i stopped carring about. I got tired of having to update stuff because others did not know how.

HOWEVER. My i closed down my buisness, and then followed after with the website. Since i shut down and stopped paying the bills, i have only spent a little time updating for my friend who i still host.

The reason why im "Bitching" is because their buisness is still operating.

B)To anyone who said why waste money.

You dont read much do you, they already have a website and a server. Obviously this is already a cost which they are having to bear. So why waste it with a useless website?

C) Judging others?

Sorry anyone can judge anyone. It happens every single day wether we as a people like it or not. However, as I said. Ive run an E buisness.. hell when i was younger, i ran a counterstrike clan.. that was just as much of a pain as my buisness was. Near daily updates, forum management, new members, money handling, bugeting.

It comes with the territory. But honestly. Its do-able and its not that hard when you love what you do. And i take it these guys love what they do.

D) Im glad to hear they are coming out with a new one.. thankyou for that peice of info, it was probably one of the only relevant things said here...

im just curious.. how do kids find out about fnk.ca nowadays? back then they the site was advertised at raves and events (as simple as stickers), with the form and kaos djs themselves, fnk meets etc...

you say in this thread its easier to cater towards their audience on this site..but isnt this site more word of mouth/top google search?

And I was just curious!

As to why do people on FnK take things and bitch all the time. I think its cuz people can read something someone might write up under cool thinking terms, but when they are read with a hostile intent, then people get all mad and defensive. IMO.
I say/post alot of things on here to amuse my curiosity, and people think Im calling out/getting mad at/or bitching at/... whatever.
