i also dislike answering machines that kinda make it sound like they picked up the phone..then they slowly say HELLO?..and u talk back..only to hear the voice recording continue afterwards...makes me feel so stupid!

yeah those suck, and then when the machine plays that stupid musical thingie before the beep that seems to go on for 5 minutes, makes me want to scream.

How about when the mailbox has so many messages and the *beep* goes on for so long???

Or at the end of the *beep*, it tells you that the mailbox is full???
