Transit Strike:I just found out...
that it won't end till september!! yikes!! i'm gonna have such a shitty summer!
and this means i won't be able to get to work in the summer at playland!! theres apparently a mandate or something....has anyone else heard this?? shit...this sucks...:003: liza

Well the last Transit strike lasted 3 months, so this one looks like it is going to be just as long if not longer.
Traffic is going to SUCK in the summer when it gets hot and sticky, and even more stupid IwishIcouldshoveahotcurlingironuptheiras s drivers get on the streets.

i was hoping it would be ok before summer..and i heard a while aog that it would last til september but i thought just rumor and i kept hoping..blah...
too many cars on road...too many bad drivers forced to drive..(me)...gas prices are sorta yucky...lotsa people can't get out...ahhhhh...poor tourists too..??...blah~:027:

it's true... the coast mountain bus company are a bunch of profiteering gluttons... they're gonna hold out on the contract negotiations, and keep the strike going, because it's actually saving them millions of dollars...

but i was bitching bout it all to my dad like last week and he told meeh, jsut wait. seeing as theirs the election cumming up what might happen when the new government is in plac e*prollyt eh liberals* they'll impose a 90-day back to work thingie, meaning the busdrivers are forced to go back to work for 90 days while they work on contract stuff and all that shit..and if after the 90 days it's still not settled then they can go on strike again. and if that happens it means there'll be busses for the next 3 months!! yay! let's just hope that happens.. but my dad also said, even if that doesn't happen..just wait till after the election..someone might do soemthign bout it then. HOPEFULLY!!! cuz i don't want my dad having to drive meeh down 2 pne all the time if i get the job..

this transit stike is so hurting. how are peopel supposed to get around?! fuck, its so selfish cuz they're screwing over soo many people. first they jack up bus fare and now they're striking!! when will the insanity end!?!
