I haaaatte this
I'm so stressed out right now. 2 out of the 4 courses that I want are already full. I don't know what else to take. I have to register in 40 minutes

If you dont' get into the class, no worries. Call up the prof and ask him or her if you could participate in the class. Generally, they're cool about it. Or wait til first day or second day, ppl have a tendency to drop the class.

Grr....I know exactly what you mean (which I expressed my frustration in in the ARRRRGGGHH! REGISTRATION!!!! thread that no one responded to)

Try not getting any of the 20-30 courses that you wanted......they fucked up my registration date hardcore......and so I had to take some stupid ass courses that I have no idea what they are but I can use them for my breadth requirements and certificate in LA.....

ha... I had the worse registration story..

I was on the web for 2 hours before i found out that the webreg doesn't work and so I had to use the phone...

luckily, I got 4 out of the possible 6 I really wanted to take...

only problem is the time scheduling is kinda shitty...
but hey, I got the courses right?

PS. miska, if you get up right at 8 am the day after all the courses are dropped, you're probably likely to get something... plus, there's the week after class starts where people are always going in and out of classes. good luck!

bpj....I only have 2 right now.....Engl 347 which is American Lit to 1940 or some shit like that (it soundz soooooo boring) and crim 131-intro to the criminal justice system.....which doesn't interest me. Fun fun.....how did you get classes?! Argh. What'd you take and when are we gonna meet up?

I hate that though, cuz you walk in a week late or something and you weren't part of the "original" tutorial/lab, you know, the one where everyone assesses and critiques everyone else, so no one gets to know you and they think you're a weirdo.....

LDUB.... I know eh? SFU all full too....I tried every resort......I don't know wtf is going on.....I guess everyone decided this is the year to go back to school......(maybe before tuition gets raised more?)

so far, I'm registered for criminal law (crim-230), research methods in psych (psych-201), history of psych(psyc-207) and biological psych(psych-280) and abnormal psych (I'll probably drop this later this week though)

basically I only DIDN'T get 1 course I really wanted which was part of my Group B division course requirement group for my program...

my schedule's not bad, except it's got a few gaps in it though and I've got a really early class in the morning :021:

so far, I've got classes 5 days a week so we'll definitely have to meet up one day!! :)

Hey last semester I took psych 201 but I dropped it......it sounded too tough/boring for me....but unfortunately it's a prereq for a lot of things....that's why it's a filter course.....
