i've only had a dress code at work once, and even then it was pretty easy going.. they just wouldn't let me wear anything "offensive"... honestly, i wouldn't take a job if they demanded me to dress to their likings, unless they were paying me $20+ an hour...
the way i see it, if they don't pay me enough to buy nice clothes, i'm not gonna wear nice clothes for them. ahhhhhhhhhhhh i love wearing a hoodie & skate shoes to work

khakis & dress shoes ain't too shabby..
gotta wear white shirt with company vest, noice dark pants & semi-dressy shoes. if u want.. take $25/28 outta ur paycheck to wear a blue company shirt (fuk the white shirt & vest) u feel betta now? :D

My uniform isn't 2 bad. I have 2 wear blue, black of khaki pants, from whatever store I pick and then a navy blue sweatshirt that says M & M Meat Shops on it. Meh, I think I can live with it. :)

soooo glad now im changed to: old navy red crew shirt..ANY pants, ANY shoes, ANY hairstyle/piercings/jewlerry... woohooooz. and if i lose or forget the crew shirt i can buy one for 4.99!

I can wear pretty much whatever I want as long as my tummy doesn't show and it's best if I wear brands from Bootlegger or the labels don't really show. At Crappy Tire's we had to wear the ugliest shirts though and b4 that we had to wear even uglier apron-type things!! :P

i have to wear all-current in-season clothes at the store i work at. it lacks cuz like...i really don't wear the clothes outside of work. oh well...it adds a nice variety to my wardrobe.

dress codes are lame. i can see if they don't want you wearing big dirty grungry looking clothes, but seriously. especially at IT jobs, as long as you look presentable, i don't see a problem. I had that shit pulled on me at my last job, we had to wear collared shirts and dress pants, and dress shoes. we never even came in contact with a customer, as it was a call center. whats the point? its so upper management power trips in their ugly suits can feel special.

uniforms suck ass!!! Mcdonald's was the WORST!!! My current job is trying to get me to dress a bit less casual. As in me not wearing a hat. I told then no frickkin way though. The only reason is cuz they're stupid fuckin new dog(which chills in our office for some stupid reason) doesn't like ppl with hats. It barks and shit. All I said was. WHO CARES WHAT THE DOG WANTS? Like i was there first and IT'S A FUCKING DOG! But yeah back to uniforms. Like bob said. $15/hr and up for me to dress the way they want.
