I feel so stupid!
I can’t believe it yesterday I accidentally washed my pager with my clothes! It was clipped to my pants and I didn’t notice, now it doesn’t really work and I don’t know if it will cost more to get it fixed than to get a new pager.:014: I’m soooo mad at myself.:097:

This is gonna sound wild..but it works
Put it in the dryer...
I've washed my pager 4 times after a party and each time i have gotten it to work.. I'm 100% serious ~Form The thing is many of the circuit boards are protected by a wax film so it might not be totally fuct... Just make sure you have a lot of clothes in there when u dry it..

umm wat u should do is open ur pager up, then use a blowdryer to dry it... not too hot, just gentle.... then when its dried, it should work....
and umm dont put it in the dryer.. unless u have lots of clothes like form said.. otherwise u'll fuck it up more... hope u can get it working! ~elmar

haha i almost did that once!! so it's okie..no need to feel stupid..
but i suggested the blowdryer thing..or the dryer thing just yes make sure it's in like pocket of a pair of pants so it won't bang against the metal sides..and of course that there's lots of clothes in there... but if that doesn't work..it would prolly be cheaper to just buy a new one i think?? not to sure... if you have the pager from telus..then if you didn't get the lil $2 extended warranty which they NEVER tell you about then you'llb e fucked..you have to send it to like fucking india or summin (actually id unno..i think it's ontario) for them to fix it...and in the meantime you don't have any other pager.... you could always buy a new one tho and just get the company or whatever to hook it up to the old number if it doesn't work! hehe but hopefully the dryer idea willwork!

Take it apart and clean everything nicely, usually the sensor pads inside it get all messy and don't respond. At abduction 2 i had a mikki of vodka break open on my minidisc and cell phone, TOTALLY screwed, but i ripped em apart and they started working again heheh =) Too bad they soaked in vodka all nite!
