at least fer two of the nites i went out and had a couple beers after work...but i doubt thats gonna happen tonite.

I love asking for more hours and then just getting closing weekend shifts.

think about it this way...

you want the money, which is why u work these undesirable hrs. other ppl out there also want the money, except the owner doesnt know these ppl (yet). im sure there are just some plain, desperate, hard workers out there who would be willing to take ur place, and think "undesirable" hrs (or maybe the long hrs of having more than one job) are a small cost in comparison to debts etc. in turn, these ppl will replace u ppl who think busy hrs on friday and saturdays are "annoying"

these words might come off as being said by a cold bastard... but its true

i used to work these prime busy hrs in a dirty shitty job. and alongside me are ppl twice or three times my age workin their ass off at the same job... and not bitchin at all. the owner shoulda hired more ppl like them.

I dunno, it is kind of dissapointing to get crappy shifts, especially when you get a bit of seniority at your workplace and that is how they give out hours...Especially after they ask you to request specific hours and then still, you don't get 'em.
