i hate the attitude of some of the people i know regarding going to celebrities with me. they are honestly affraid that they will get hit on by all the guys there. let me put it simply:

its hard for me to understand the concept of homophobia... ive been brought up in a very non-judgemental and accepting environment... so to see someone who is like that really bothers me... to me it just says they have some underlying issues..... but to each their own.

Celebs is probably the least gay club on Davie. Last time I went it was probably 3/4s straight.

It's not a gay club, it's a gay-friendly club. If guys are really going to pick up, they would probably go to Numbers or the Odyssey.

Your typical Celebs patron these days is a bridge-and-tunnel douchebag.

I always found celebs to be fun, I have afew gay friends who enjoy celebs and i go along. Being a homophobe is just being ignorant, it may stem from some straight guys lusting after lesbians, they then assume gay men must lust after them.

I think there's only been one time I've gone to Celebrities and not been hit on by guys. It happens, but a simple "I'm not gay, sorry" gets them away from you for the rest of the night.

I'd say most people are scared not so much of getting hit on, but that they'll like it. Me, I know I'm heterosexual, I've always been heterosexual, and I'll always be heterosexual, so I don't care. You can try hit on me, but it's not going anywhere, and it's not going to fuck with my head.

Wow then i'm blessed because my gay husband Jamal and I have foreign movie/dinner night sleepovers all the time that are filled with issues of Nylon, lots of vodka and nonstop boy talk.

I don't consider myself a fag hag but I have several gay friends and I think whole concept is kind of insulting.
We're all just people, i'm not going to refrain from having a certain type of conversation with my gay friends because people consider it trendy or because it was made popular on sex and the city.
