I had a great long weekend and was concluding my party times at a buddies BBQ.
He invited a bunch of (gay)friends. I'm not gay, but I volunteered for pride and I have gay friends. Anyways, one of the guys named Garfield starts talking about how he helps older people at VGH as an orderly or something. I thought he was cool, so I mention that tonight we'e lucky to be cooking on the "Paul Jr. BBQ" as seen on TV and designed by Paul Jr. of Orange County Choppers. He staight up says " I think your lying. I'm like, no it's really a bbq and it's here. They cost like $299 at London Drugs. Anyways, he's talking about how he's from Montreal and I mention that I have a cousin in Montreal. Furthermore, I tell him that my cousin and I haven't talked for a long time, but she seems to be quite moody when I chek her status on FB. He goes on to tell me that she's probably "manic depressive." Then he says, it runs in the family and from what he observes, "I'm crazy too."
Get this shit! I just met this guy 15 minutes ago and he's calling me a liar and telling me I'm crazy in front of my friends!!
What the fuck! Now, I'm a really mellow guy, but this is just too much shit. Was he pissed I wasn't gay? Did I give off the racist vibe? Did he feel threatened?
Personally, I think he was just an ASSSHOLE!

You can't expect to get along with everyone in the world, its just the way life is that you will encounter people you don't get along with. Don't take it personal, the way someone treats you says far more about their character then yours.

Tthat being said maybe your friend Garfield got a pretty accurate hit off of you. Judging by your past posts about various conspiracy theories, your general perspective on life and the fact that you are angry enough to post about this experience on an online forum. I would guess that you are not the most emotionally or mentally stable person on the planet. Thats ok too though, no one's perfect, even guys that volunteer at pride.

I know i came off harsh which I do to confront your line of thinking. One thing that I've learnt is that anger or holding resentments only hurts yourself, the person you're angry at can't feel it and it takes alot of energy to carry those negative emotions with you.
