grrrr, never lend anything out you expect to get back!
i lent a "friend" my $150 knee high lace up boots. well when i ask for them back a while later she doesn't know where they are!! she told me she'd find them and if she didn't, she would give me money for them.
well, 3 years later.....no boots & no money! my brother even lived in an apartment above hers and she told him she owed me money...but i never saw a penny! that is why i never ever lend anything out anymore! fuck!! i give up!! i am mad cuz they were fucking cool boots! fuck fuck fuck

it only takes one fucking shitty event to lose trust in everyone!
seriously......i don't even like lending out cds anymore......i'd burn a copy for someone if they wanted it that bad! i only trust my close close friends and immediate family.....everyone else can fuck off! no offense to anyone on the boards, but i lost trust in anyone that goes to raves because i got my purse stolen at "heartbreaker" in 2001.......with my cell, my ex's cell, my camera, my wallet all inside........ grrrrr

werd about taking one shitty event. i had my camera and my wallet stolen out of my locker at school when i was in grade 12.
now i like to take collateral if i lend someone something. but i know how u feel about not trusting anyone. i get so paranoid if i put my stuff down somewhere like at a party... it has to be in eyesight or else i'll be checking every 15 minutes to see if everything is still there.
