heres the story

wed...sched comes out
i work
(sunday 11-4)
(monday - tues - off)
(wed 530-10)
(thurs ")
(firday 5-11)
(sat - off)

lets start the day on the day the sched came out
i look at the piece of paper and those where my times
thursday(this is the week befroe so its my day off here)
friday i come to work manager goes to me can u do me a fav??
Ted(the other worker) has 8 days in a row can u take his tuesday shift so that he doesnt have 2 days in a row...Me yeah sure...


so my shifts look like this now

(sunday 11-4)
(monday off)
(tuesday 530 -10)
(wed 530-10)
(thurs ")
(firday 5-11)
(sat - off)

i come to work tuesday and look at the sched again and it says this

(sunday 11-4)
(monday off)
(tuesday 530 -10)
(wed 330-730)<--------------new change???
(thurs ")
(firday 5-11)
(sat - off)


i go and argue this to manager she says that she had told me taht she was gonna change it
funny cause is i was told this i wouldnt be arguing it would i??

today wed feb 5th 2003
i show up to work at 330pm on time
manager: oh i thought u said taht you couldnt work the shift so i gave it to Ted.....

ok since u gave him the shift WHY THE FUCK DIDNT U CALL ME AND TELL ME YOU WHERE GOIN TO DO THAT?????

I wouldn't get upset...The blame is not mine and if they want to pursue it then I would go to a higher level and tell them straight up what happened. I would also have a copy in writing of the incident for backup.

haha, my work place did that to me this week.
I checked the schedule, it said I wasn't working on saturday.
I change my availibility so I can work on saturdays. I do this After seeing that I don't work on saturday.
I get a call back later that day from someone else at my work, telling me they changed the schedule and now I work on saturday :P

hmmm...thats fucked up....shit like thats happened to me before...i had like a sat night shift...sun and monday off...schedule hasnt gone out yet so i was like...i cant work wed...so i got that shift off...but the gave me a mon shift...and i didnt know...so i went in to re check my sechule come monday and to my amazement i had to work in 30 min...w/ no uniform or anything...i havent worked a monday shift in over 6 months...so i was like...hmmm...this is fucked...and went apeshit
