Grrr...so I handed back an assignment today for my grade 10s. (It was a group assignment) and this one student handed it a total piece of crap...(I mean my cousin in grade 5 could of done better). I of course failed him and it brought the mark of the group down. The student then proceeds to tell me how he should pass because he normally doesn't hand anything in...He was actually mad at me! So let's see: you don't do any work in class, you don't come prepared to class, you constantly disrupt the class, you hand in something that a grade 2 could of done a better job on and you expect to pass?!?!?!? The thing that really chokes me is that he is not a stupid student...he is somewhat bright...argh!

It is too bad we can't be brutally honest with students because if I could I would say: " Yea, welfare, hope you like it because you'll be living off of it the rest of your life because you will get fired from every job you're in with that attitude. Here's a news flash little boy, the world does not revolve around you and once mommy and daddy are gone the only thing you'll be useful for is an organ donor...Now either grow up a little bit, stop looking for a handout and do the work I know you can or get out of my class and let people who actually care about their education work here. Have fun selling pencils on the street cause that's where you're heading!"

Ahh.. I know so many guys like that.. and I'm graduating in a few months!! Some people never seem to get it..

Not only do they annoy the teachers.. they annoy me. I want to smack them and tell them to stfu.

I can see why you can't be honest, but I dunno.. I've known quite a few teachers to get away with things like that. But it's probably best if you don't. That's what other students are for! :D hehe we can say that stuff and not get in as much trouble as the teacher.
