seriously here. worst time ever.
I hate how teachers call my parents, i'm 17 I make my own choices if I do bad in school,it's out of their hands. Today I got a letter in the mail saying I've missed more than 15 classes(10 of which were excused for work experience and whatnot) GODFORBID I would skip 5 classes. I only have 3 months left but it's such torture. Who ever said highschool was fun was clearly on drugs the whole time.

I still think she's right but for different reasons. Highschool was prison because it was so boring and easy and teachers weren't interested in new opinions or theories but only in what the ministy (sounds so sinister n'est pas) want them to teach. Consequently I barely ever went to school... and look at me now

The only reason most schools are like that is because they are responsible for you. So when you're not in class, if something happens, it all comes back to them.
It's still stupid though. My parents used to get those letters all the time, saying I've missed this many classes and that if I miss this many more I'll be suspended. Never happened. Hell my dad just threw them out half the time without even opening em..

I like my second half of highschool better than my first.
It's going really well right now, i like my teachers and i've got my theatre, and i'm getting fairly good marks. So it's all good right now. But i remember not too long ago when it was hell. I would never have wanted to go back there... But thank god for moving houses a lot because i ended up somewhere that is not all that bad.

werd up im having my second parent teacher conference tomorrow...FUN STUFF. my school is a fawkin prison..=( some kid at my school's all over the news right now cuz she supposly met some guy off the internet and disappeared... THATS why they keep the attendence on track.
