I hate when a customer bitches at you, and it puts you in a bad mood for the rest of the day! I think i am going to have to find a job where i dont have to deal with customers! anyone know of one.....?

i used to work on a car rental place, it was always a bitch getting someone to pay at the end, especially when icbc screws them over. One time this this krusty old fart told me to fuck off, so i jumped over the counter and chased him up the street...i'm pretty sure he soiled his depends undergarments.
Hehe and I didnt get fired ;) i got just got more collections and repo's to handle |

I used to sell hot dogs from a cart right in front of the Harbor Centre (if you see a parkade with potted trees, that's where I used to be).
I dealt with a lot of shitty people. Bums and insolents to just general fuckers, yea I had it pretty rough. The prices at my cart were extreme (they were set by my boss, so don't look at me) so sometimes, I would make a dog, and then tell them the price after it was done (we lost our little price sign) and some people would just fucking up and leave! Yes, I got a fully cooked hot dog now, but on the other hand I had to pay for it myself On the plus side...HOTTIES! And my bosses were pretty cool too. It's good experience in the long run though...teaches you patience when you run into the many assholes you will encounter in your life. |

hehe, one of my favorite perks of owning my own business has been the freedom to deal with rude customewrs however i see fit. Of course i won't lip off people who buy records, but rude rave ticket buyers are another story. the best was the guy who bitched me out and berated me over a $1 service charge on his ticket - and then after grudgingly making the purchase, caught a loonie to the back of the head on his way out :kam:

aritzia has a no bag's policy, and some of the newbies to the stores just will NOT accept it. I understand their concern and confusion but some people talk to you and confront you in a rude way, when they could handle the situation more properly. My philosophy is, if you don't wana follow rules, then get your ass outta our store, cause you're waste of my time. Some confront you accusingly as though YOU mae up the rules. They think that it's going to impact my life if they don't try out clothes and buy from me. To be honest, i don't fucking care cause all they're probably going to do is try on 20 items of clothing and then end up getting a tee-shirt worth 20$.
Then there are the return people who JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND that no tag/no receipt=NO REFUND. AND DO NOT MESS UP MY FOLDED CLOTHING! |

hahaha the biggest size aritzia has is maybe medium, only thing XL is the price. heh spent to much time watching g/f's buy clothes.
I give anybody who works retail and does it for a long time MAD PROPS. Especially those high end stores that look like such a boring place to work. Seems the higher end the store is the more it looks like an operating room. So clean and boring and your afraid to touch anything. I used to work in restaurants for years and I worked in the ktichen and kitchen staff was lucky we could just go into the cooler and yell and scream, but waitresses have to put on the show no matter how they feel or whats goin on in there lives. Theres no way I have the patience for that and for the shitty cash they make well they have tips but people in retail ugh. I always try to be nice and understanding when I go into a store even if they cant accomidate me well not much screaming will do about it. Unless they are being absolute jack offs then I get pissed. Went to a clothing store and they had a shirt on hold from me cause the other store didnt have it well the guy was talkin on his cell phone and I stood there for like 5 minutes looking at him so I finally just grabbed his phone out of his hand and hung up and asked for my shirt. |

^ he asked me where the ice was and i told him so he went to get it. i was on express so i decided to take the next lady out of courtesy to her because she only had a few items and i put his 2 items next. when he came back he lipped me off. it bugs me because he couldn't wait 2 minutes but if it was somebody else waiting in line it's ok for him to go grab something while we wait.
i didn't lip him off in anyway i just was smart with him. |

Iono, i guess you could consider aritzia as a semi-high-end store, more focused on casual wear, but it still is a lot of fun. Sure you get anal customers but it exposes you to different ways of living. Hot chicks too :P |
